Chengde climate and weather

Chengde lies in the northeast of Hebei Province. It borders Beijing and Tianjin in its south, Liaoning Province and Inner Mongolia in the north. Chengde enjoys a continental monsoon climate. The average temperature in the urban area is 8.8℃. It is neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter. The best time to visit Chengde is from July to September.
