Description

Beijing Shatan Hotel is a small and peaceful 3 star hotel located to the north of the Forbidden City, a short 5 minutes walk to the Forbidden City. To the west is Jinshan Park and Beihai Park, to the east is "Wu Si" Avenue and the site of the previous East Royal Root Park.

It is opened in 2000 and re-decorated in 2007, managed by a famous local management group, Yumen Petroleum Administration Bureau China National Petroleum Group Corporation.

All of the rooms in the hotel have air-conditioning and a private shower room. Some rooms have broadband internet access. The restaurants serve traditional Chinese cuisine that ranges through the styles of Cantonese and Sichuan. The business center provides fax service, copying & typing service, as well as secretarial work. There are three conference rooms, the largest can hold 80 people at the same time.

The convenient location and reasonable prices make the hotel an ideal selection for a budget stay in Beijing.
