Description
 Tiger Leaping Gorge, which has the largest drop height in the world, is located in hutiaoxia town Shangri-La county, 105 km away from downtown Shangrila. It is formed by the gap between Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Haba snow mountain with the Jingshajiang River flowing through. The gorge has a total length of 20 kilometers, dividing into upper, middle and lower parts including18 rapids, with the deepest height to the snow mountain altitude reaching to 3900 metres. The narrowest part of river which is about 20 metres, legend has it that once there was a tiger jumping across the river from the huge rocks in it, thus the name Tiger Leaping Gorge. The gorge is noted for its peculiarity, steepness and magnificence, accredited to the great hiking destination where tourists come to trace the miracle left by the sun.
Upon all this, the Tina's House is built with the advantaged location standing on the cliffs besides the Shenchuan Bridge at the middle gorge, which is renowned both at home and aboard.
 Tina's house possesses 15 deluxe standard rooms, 10 standard rooms and 27 normal rooms, capable of accommodating 150 people. There are in room Chinese and western dinning hall, outdoor tea bar, and its local flavour dish chicken soup has attracted many tourists. It also provides services including laundry, wireless network, tourism consultation, guide and vehicle rent which have brought great convenience to the tourists. At present, Tina's House is the largest family house in Tiger Leaping Gorge Scenic Area. It has gained board support and well reputation for its good management and service. Thereby, it was specially invited by International Youth Hostel to be one of its members.

Check the road situation with Tina's/Easytourchina before you go, as the waterfall a few miles before the lodge may bring down piles of rock and block the road.
