Day 01   Beijing arrival
Arrival in Beijing. Pick up and transfer to hotel. 

Day 02  Beijing tour
Tour Beijing: major sights. 

Day 03  Beijing tour
Tour Beijing: major sights.

Day 04  Beijing-Xi'an
Tour Beijing: in the morning. Afternoon train ride to Xi'an overnight. 

Day 05  Xi'an tour
Arrival at Xi'an and have breakfast. Short rest. 
Tour Xi'an: major sights. 

Day 06  Xi'an-Pingyao
Tour Xi'an: major sights. 
Afternoon transfer to train station for overnight train ride to Taiyuan. 

Day 07  Taiyuan-Pingyao
Arrival at Taiyuan. Pick up and transfer to Pingyao (2hrs). 
Tour Pingyao: Major sights and sounds of this old small town full of cultural heritage.

Day 08  Pingyao
Tour Pingyao. 

Day 09  Pingyao-Datong
Drive back to Datong and take express bus to Taiyuan (4hrs). Pick up and to hotel. 
Visit: Famous 1500yrs old Buddhist Grotto. 

Day 10  Datong-Beijing
Visit Hanging Temple of Datong and sights within Datong. Afternoon transfer to bus station for 3.5hr express bus to Beijing. Transfer to hotel. 

Day 11  Beijing exit or extended stay
End of tour or have extended stay in Beijing. 

Remarks:
       1. Train Choice (all with A/C):
           a. Hard sleeper: 6 persons in one booth, perfect to talk around, difficult to 
               hide your privacy, toilet & wash room at the end of each car;
           b. Soft sleeper: private compartment, 4 person share, toilet at the end of 
               each car;

           b. Basic hotels: clean, safe, and comfortable with basic facilities;
