In North China, it is a tradition for families to spend the night before Chinese Lunar New Year making dumplings. Chinese dumplings are a "lucky food": the dumplings symbolize wealth because their shape resembles ancient Chinese gold nuggets. The dumplings may be eaten after midnight, or enjoyed for breakfast the next morning. One lucky person may find a coin in their dumpling.
Xian had long been the capital of Chinese in history (possibly for 11 dynasties), where the art of creating the most tasty and delicate of dumplings was refined here. Dumpling Banquet is featured with 20 varieties of traditional Chinese dumplings (totally up to 200+ different types). During the banquet, you will not only feed your mouth with the tasty delicacy, but also feast your eyes on the cuisine art of Chinese chefs.
