Located in the Nanwan Peninsula, 14 km from Lingshui town, Nanwan Monkey Island is a habitat for macaque. It is the only tropical island nature reserve for macaques in China, which is under the state protection since 1965. It is said that now there are more than 2000 monkeys in this nature reserve.

The island is topped by forests and hills. Its climate and weather are pleasant. The wild animals live here harmoniously. It is a paradise for all the species. And macaques will play some performances for you, which is a great fun. Tourists can take photos with these monkeys. Please do not offend them when feeding and playing with them.
