Guilin and around the area including Yangshuo,
Longsheng:
Guilin
is a land of exceptional beauty. It has always been
famous in China for its scenery and has been eulogized
in innumerable literary works, paintings and inscriptions
since its founding more than 2000 years ago. Large-scale
renovation in the past few years made the city one
of the best look cities all over the country. Yangshuo
is featured with breathtaking natural landscape, while
Longsheng is characterized with its man-made wonder
of rice terraces and colorful minority culture.

Guilin:
Li River cruise or trekking, Reed Flute Cave, Seven
Star Park, Central lakes, Kindergartens, old city

Yangshuo: Water buffalo, Yulong River with

Mt. Huangshan:
Huangshan
known as "the loveliest mountain of China",
was acclaimed through art and literature during a
good part of Chinese history. Today it holds the same
fascination for visitors, poets, painters and photographers
who come in pilgrimage to this enchanting site, renowned
for its magnificent scenery made up of many granite
peaks and rocks emerging out of a sea of clouds.
Recommended options:
Bright Summit Peak (1840m)- the best
place for watching the sunrise and the sea of clouds
Lotus Peak (1864m) -the highest peak of the
mountain, a panoramic view of Mt Huangshan mountain
range
Celestial Peak- the steepest peak of
the mountain
The
Cloud Dispelling Pavilion-an ideal spot to watch
the sunset
Fallen Rock from Sky (Feilai Shi)-a weird
natural wonder.
Xidi and Hongcun-nearby towns famous for well-preserved
original residence in Ming and Qing Dynasty, where
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was filmed.
Yunnan Impression:
Yunnan is the sixth largest province in China and is roughly
the same size as California. It is home to over 45
million people, a third of whom belong to one of the
55 official ethnic minorities of China minorities
such as the Hani, Yi and Naxi. This represents a far
larger percentage of the population than is found
throughout the rest of the country and certainly makes
for a colorful and exotic journey.

Minorities in Southeastern Guizhou:
Guizhou,
a landlocked province can be considered as an anthropological
treasure trove. Its poor farmland and villages, primitive
and unchanged for centuries, are home to 13 of China's
55 officially recognized ethnic minorities. Southeastern
part of the province with its capital called Kaili
provides a good base for explorations of the surrounding
Miao, Shui and Dong villages.

Zhaoxing-the
largest Dong village with a rich collection of traditions
Tang'an-regarded as an anthropological and
ecological museum
Taijiang-home to Miao people famed for festivals
Kaili-the capital of the area with a minority
culture museum

Tibet:
For
many tourists and photographers, Tibet is an exotic
and mysterious once-in-a-lifetime travel destination.
A distant outpost on China's frontier comprising vast
expanses of desolate mountains and deserts and sparsely
populated by the insular, spiritual, and colorful
Tibetan nationality, it has for centuries been seen
as a challenge to visit this forbidding "Roof
of the World".
Lhasa: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor
Street, Norbulinka, Drepung, Sera and Ganden Monastery
Other cities:
Beijing: Beijing opera, the Great Wall in
wildness, three-wheeled rickshaws and by foot to visit
