| A group of expats in China had a great trip to Harbin in late January, 2010 |
Dear Fisher,
The only thing I can say about the trip: It was GREAT!!!!
We were the 3rd group and I think they have done a few adjustment for the trip and everything went very smooth for us.
We came three hours late and we went directly to the Disney Park and then for the dinner. The restaurant with dumplings. The food was very good and after that we went to the hotel to check in.
Saturday we start with the Tiger Park, very nice with all this tigers. Then the church. After we had lunch also very good. Afternoon we first went to the Sun Island, amazing with all the sculptures. Last we went to the fantastic Ice and snowland. We arrived half an hour before sunset. It was nice to see everything in both daylight and night, very beautiful and colorful. We had dinner at a very good restaurant with delisious food.
Saturday we saw the the crazy swimmers in the river and after that time to go to the airport.
Yes, we had 3 hours delay in both directions, not much to do about that.
I want to thank you for a great planning for our trip. Rebecka and Mia was fantastic. Mia was very nice, good information about the parks and always a smile on her face. If you have the opportunity to thank her, please do that from all of us. Everybody was so happy and pleased.
We are very much looking forward to do new trips with you and again thank you very much
Ann

| A group of expats in China enjoyed their trip to Harbin very much in January, 2010
|
Hello Fisher,
we all enjoyed the Harbin trip very much.
The driver and the guide Mia did a very good job and the organisation was also very good.
Please give this information this also to Mias boss. She did everything very well.
Especially the dinner on the first day we enjoyed very much. Everybody loved the taste of these dishes.
The Holiday Inn was ok for everybody, especially the location directly across the street to the pedestrain street was perfect. Our problem with the TV was solved the next day and the wrong additional bill for DVD looking was also no problem (maybe the maintance guy used the DVD to check after repairing the TV), Mia arranged everything.
So thanks to her.
The size of the tour bus was perfect for our group and the driver drove very safe.
Thanks and best regards
Andrea

| Five American clients were very happy with their trip to Harbin in January, 2010
|
Hi Fisher,
My apologies for not responding to you sooner. We were very happy with our trip. We were very pleased with our Harbin itinerary. I think it was very smart to go to the smaller sculpture park on the first night because that made the Ice and Snow World on the second night that much more impressive.
We were very happy with our guide, Rachel. She was very responsive to our needs. When she realised that we enjoyed massages she made arrangements for us to visit a local salon for foot and body massages after dinner on the second day. This was a perfect way to end a very enjoyable but cold and long day.
We were very pleased with the choice of restuarants Rachel chose for us. We have all been living in China for over six months and know good dumplings when we see them. Once Rachel realized that several members of our group preferred vegetable options she made sure that those were included in our meals.
We had a small issued with the Holiday Inn staff but that was totally out of your control and we dealt with it.
Thank you again for providing the perfect winter get away and being flexible to our needs. We really enjoyed it and I have already recommended your company to several of my friends.
Take care,
Patty

| Four Brazilians had an enjoyable trip to Harbin in January, 2010 |
Dear Fisher
Please see my comments:
Guide: good guy, very kindly and very worry with us if we were like or not.
Transportation: good and comfortable car. We did not have contact with the driver but he always was waiting for us and no complains from my side.
Hotel: it was ok. The breakfast, of course in a Chinese style but I would say that we can eat very well. Good rooms.
Tour itinerary: it was ok. But in our case I do not know if we did a little bit faster but the time for dinner, for example, it was a bit earlier, in the first day was around 3pm and in the second day 4pm.
Meals: it was ok.
Best regards,
Pitombo

| An European couple had a great trip to China at the end of 2009 |
Dear Fisher,
nice to hear from you. Yes all is well again and I am also quite busy with business. I am glad you have plenty of Tourists.
The trip was fine, I have started already to recommend you. All the tour guides, drivers, cars and hotel (except the one) were fine. In general we did not like the food much but that is a personal thing. So all in all it was great.
Best regards
Paul

| An American couple had a good one-day trip to Guangzhou in January, 2010
|
Dear Vivian:
I have just returned from Hong Kong on Monday, so I am still very tired.
We had a good trip but my wife and I returned with colds due to the cold weather we had in Asia (not your fault).
The time we spent in Guangzhou was OK, not great but OK. The day we were there was cold and a little wet. The itinerry we requested was delivered well. Our ship arrived late but your guide and driver were there and did what was necessary to complete our schedule. So all in all I can not complain. The city was much better than I had expected but there were not really too many exciting places to see there. Lunch was good, we met a Chinese man there who explained the menue and the Chinese lettering system which was very interesting (the highlight of our day).
Your communication was excellent and appreciated. If I return to China I will definetly contact you to assist me in you country, you were a pleasure to deal with.
Thanks for your service.
Best regards,
George Bentzig

Hi Fisher,
It was a very nice trip and not so cold as we expected!!
The whole group had a lot of fun - especially the kids !!
James did a great job. We got half of the room keys in the bus before we reached the hotel, the rest when we arrived in the lobby. People were very happy about this. They could change clothes and then enjoy the trip.

Finally it was a very very nice trip. Every member and the kids enjoyed it so much. So thanks again James - you did such a good job - and everybody liked your jokes!! We had a really great time together. Wei - now I guess you missed something not to be with us - and you are right (haha)
Yes we will send you a few pictueres soon :-))
- and if you go on our webpage in a few days you will find all the pictures on our photoalbum - to enjoy.... :-))
Have a nice day
Thanks
Cheers

| A British family had the loveliest memories in Guilin in late November, 2009
|
Dear Fisher,
It was sooo nice to meet you in Guilin! Thank you again so much for the dinner and the lovely book gift!
I and my parents have really the loveliest memories from our trip to Guilin and the countryside. We loved it.
I would like to also give you a feedback on our guide Michael: Michael is absolutely an exceptional guide! He is the best guide that I had in China (together with Sasha in Urumuji). He has arranged everything for us in advance without us needing to ask for anything. He was extremely pro-active and flexible, he has gently guided us through everything, very patiently, and has been giving us lots of information on everything. My parents and I found him extremely good. Please extend a big thank you to him from us.
Thank you again for everything.
Kind regards
Adela

| A British couple had an enjoyable trip to Yunnan in November, 2009
|
Hi Wei
Sorry not to have contacted you immediately but I got back to UK and found I had rather a lot to do.
How is James daughter? I hope that she is recovering now from whatever illness the hospital decided that she had.
I wanted to say a big thank you for arranging the trip for me and Malcolm. It was very hectic but we really enjoyed it. Everything went very smoothly - the planes were all on time; the guides were there to meet us etc.
The only point about the itinerary was that (as I said to you), we visited Jade Dragon Mountain in the morning because the guide had been told by her agency that, due to high winds, it sometimes closed in the afternoon - so you might want to remember that when setting up itineraries for other guests.
The guides were good.
'Helen' in Kunming was fine and very competent.
'Frank' in Dali / Shaxi was excellent - very, very good English, very knowledgeable and good 'people' skills.
'Shirley' (Li Jang Li) in Lijiang also had very good English and lots of information to impart (I understand that you spoke to her to check the time of out flight into Kunming).
We had the same driver with us from Dali to the end of the tour (didn't get the spelling of his name - something like Mr Zhu ?Shu??). He was really good too - very friendly. I thought you might want to know about them for any other guests you send through these agencies.
All the best to everyone.
Rhona

| An Irish gentleman said a big thank you to our guide in Beijing for his solo trip in early November, 2009
|
Dear Lisa,
I would like to say a big thank you for the lovely time I spent with you on my recent visit to Beijing. Your knowledge of your history is amazing and your enthusiasm in passing it on to visitors like me is most impressive.
Please also pass on my sincere thanks to Mr Dong for his extreme punchuality, his patience, and his friendly approach, although I must say I missed you on my last day, Gina also did an excellent job and just like you constantly checking if I had my personnel items with me..
On a more personal note I would appreciate a postal address so I can maybe send on some London memorabilia to Melissa that she might be interested in. I also spoke to my grand daughter Bethany, who, as you may remember is also 13 years old, and she is interested in having her as a pen pall, I have no doubt they would have a lot in common.
Once again thanks for making my stay in Beijing so enjoyable.
Kindest regards

| Two clients from USA had a wonderful trip including Yangtze cruise in October, 2009
|
Dear Fisher,
Mike and I want to thank you for setting up a glorious trip. Everything went very smoothly especially thanks to the extra care given to us by the guides that you arranged. Phil was a lot of fun and Wen gave us extra help at the very last minute when there was a glitch with our new passport numbers at the Yichang airport. I can't express enough how much we appreciated both the drivers and our guides. Driving in China appears to be quite a nightmare and though I even have my school bus drivers license, I would not want to drive there. The hotels were also perfect and the boat stunning.
There is one thing I would like to say that made us a bit uncomfortable. We did not care for being taken to specific "tourist trap" places where we felt that our guides or the service might be getting kickbacks if we purchased items. I would suggest that next time you plan a trip for someone you ask if they want to go to these types of shopping areas or if they would prefer to go to museums, etc. We really liked Dazu Rocks for example and all of the temples that we were taken to. Again, thank you for your time and effort in making this a wonderful trip.
