Arrive at Beijing Capital International Airport. Our guide will greet you at the exit of Arrival Hall & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Private escorted tour to the most famous and representative square--Tiananmen Square, the world's largest city center square and the center of Beijing. Then go to the Forbidden City, officially known as the Imperial Palace Museum. It is the supreme model in the development of ancient Chinese palaces, providing insight into the social development of late dynastic China, especially the ritual and court culture. Temple of Heaven is the last spot which is one of Beijing’s most impressive sites in terms of architecture, color and significance and was used by Emperor to communicate directly with Heaven.

Private escorted tour to the Great Wall, a series of stone and earthen fortifications in China which is a symbol of China's history and heritage. Then go to Ming Tomb, located at Chan Ping County, 50 km (31 miles) northwest of Beijing, it reflects a similar conception of Imperial architecture. Sacred road is the next stop, which used to be regarded as "the way leading to Heaven". At night, enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.

Visit Hutongs by rickshaw. They are the unique street design in Beijing - some crisscrossing old narrow paths with courtyard houses built on each side. It can be regarded as a window into Beijing folk life. Then take afternoon flight to Shanghai. Arrive in Shanghai--be met & transferred to your hotel.

4 spots of today’s trip--firstly, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the best viewing spot of Shanghai located by the Huangpu River with the height of 468 meters. Secondly, Yu Garden, with 400 years’ history, this private garden features traditional architectural style of Yangtze Delta. Proceed to visit the Bund and Nanjing Road. The Bund is the famous waterfront to see newly-erected modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period. Then Nanjing Road is the busiest shopping street in Shanghai.
