Day 1 Arrival / Shanghai   
Be met at the airport and transfer to hotel check in.

Day 2 Shanghai  (B, L)
Enjoy full-day tour of Yu Garden, Old Quarters, Xintiandi, Shanghai Museum, The Bund, and Nanjing Road

-Yu Garden: It used to be a private garden with 400 years' history; it features traditional architectural style of Yangtze Delta.

-Shanghai Museum: It is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. It  boasts 120,000 pieces of rare and precious cultural relics in twenty-one categories, including bronze ware, ceramics, calligraphy, paintings, sculpture, furniture, jade and ivory carvings, bamboo and wood carvings, lacquer ware, oracle bones, seals, coins, and handicrafts of ethnic art.

-The Bund: Shanghai's famous waterfront to see new-erect modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period.

-Nanjing Road: The busiest shopping street in Shanghai.

Day 3 Shanghai (B, L)
Make an excurstion to Zhujiajiao Water Town (including a boat cruise). Free time at the rest of the day.

-Zhujiajiao Water Town: Endowed with another elegant name - "Pearl Stream" - the little town is the best-preserved among the four ancient towns in Shanghai.

Day 4 Shanghai/Suzhou/Huangshan (B, L, D)
Transfer to Suzhou, and visit No.1 Silk Factory, Humble Administrator's Garden, Grand Canal Cruise. Then proceed to the railway station and catch the train to Huangshan.

-No.1 Silk Factory: With a history of more than 80 years, Suzhou No.1 Silk Factory enjoys a good reputation in the silk industry. The high-grade filature silk made in the factory is best raw material for the production of high quality silk fabrics, which has won the national gold medal.

-Humble Administrator's Garden: Covering about 12.58 acres, the Humble Administrator's Garden is the largest and most renowned garden. Due to its unique designs and ethereal beauty, the garden has garnered many special honors. It is listed as a World Cultural Heritage site and has also been designated as one of the Cultural Relics of National Importance under the Protection of the State as well as a Special Tourist Attraction of China.

-Grand Canal Cruise: The Grand Canal which is also known as the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal is the earliest and the longest artificial river in the world that is ten times of the Suez Canal and 22 times of the Panama Canal. It originates from Beijing in the north and ends in Hangzhou, Zhejiang in the south. Six provinces and five river systems are connected by the canal. In the history, the canal is the artery of communications between south and north. For over two thousand and five hundred years, rich historical relic sights have been formed along the river. Like the Great Wall, the Grand Canal is regarded as one of the two great projects in Chinese ancient time.

Day 5 Huangshan (B, L, D)
Arrival in Huangshan in the early morning, be met at the train station and transfer to have breakfast and head for the famous Mt. Huangshan. Cable car up, explore the West Sea Canyon and other scenic spots. Overnight on Mt. Huangshan.

Day 6 Huangshan / Hangzhou (B, L)
Take cable car down, visit Hongcun Village, where Oscar Winner "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" was filmed. Visit the old street of Huangshan, then take a private transfer to Hangzhou, and transfer to hotel check in.

Day 7 Hangzhou (B, L, D)
Visit Lingyin Temple & Feilai Peak, West Lake by boat cruise, Dragon Well Tea Plantation.

-Lingyin Temple & Feilai Peak: You will find Ling Yin Temple in a long, narrow valley between Fei Lai Feng (Peak flown from Afar) and North Peak to the northwest of the West Lake at Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province. The temple is without doubt a premier showpiece in the West Lake environs and is notable also as one of the ten most famous Buddhist temples of China. In 1961 the temple was listed for protection as a key provincial historical and cultural site and is considered a leading centre for research relative to Chinese Buddhist culture.

The presence of a temple on this site can be traced back to the Eastern Jin Dynasty (317 - 420AD) when, according to local legend, Huili an Indian monk came to the area where he was inspired by the spiritual nature of the scenery to be found here. To his mind this had to be a dwelling of the Immortals and so he gave the temple a name "Ling Yin (Temple of the Soul's Retreat). The Chinese name is translated into English as either "Temple of the Soul's Retreat' or 'Temple of Inspired Seclusion' for the setting has a quiet and beautiful grandeur that encourages a feeling of peace and for contemplation.

Day 8 Hangzhou / Guilin (B)
Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the airport. Be met at the airport and transfer to hotel check in. Then visit Reed Flute Cave.

-Reed Flute Cave: Fantastic stalactites & stalagmites formation, known as "Natural Art Gallery".

Day 9 Guilin/Yangshuo (B)
Take a cruise on the Li River and enjoy lunch on board. Arrive at the small town Yangshuo at between 12:30 to 1:00pm. Check in your hotel and free afternoon for your own exploration
 
-Li River Cruise: A wonderful 3.5 hour cruise going down a clear river sided by picturesque scenery. Lunch on board.

-Bamboo Rafting on Yulong River - It winds its way in a picturesque valley sided by stunning limestone hills. Sitting on a bamboo rafting (twin sharing), you can lie down on the chair smelling the fragrance of rice, enjoying the gentle water buffalo walking on the bank. On the way, you can also slide down some small dams on the raft as a soft adventure. Great fun and exciting!

Day 10 Yangshuo / Longji (B, L, D)
Biking or hiking to the countryside, Bamboo Rafting on Yulong River at Yangshuo. Transfer to Longji.

Day 11 Longji / Xi'an (B)
No. 1 & No. 2 Viewing Points, Longji (Dragon Back) Rice Terraces. Transfer to airport and fly to Xian. Be met at the airport and transfer to hotel check in.

-Longji (Dragon Back) Rice Terraces: located 55 miles (87 km) northwest of Guilin, where you will be rewarded feats of farm engineering going all the way up a string of 2400 feet (800 m) mountains. The 66-square-km network irrigation project was began by the ethnic Zhuang in the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), and finished by the Qing (1644-1911). Further uphill Zhuang and Yao people two-story cabins are nestled against the breathtaking man-made wonder. The layout of the village mimics the terraces field symmetry, giving an appearance that the houses are stacked on top of one another- an integrated part of the land.

Day 12 Xi'an / Beijing (B, L, D)
Today's sightseeing including Ancient City Wall, Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum.

-Ancient City Wall: The best-kept and biggest city walls in China.

-Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum: One of the most important archaeological finds in the 20 th century; an army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb since 2200 year ago.

-Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum: The tomb has not been excavated and there is no clear knowledge as to what is inside. But the Historical Records of Sima Qian, a famous historian of the 2nd century BC, relate that the tomb containers palaces and pavilions filled with rare gems and other treasures and equipped with crossbows which could shoot automatically at intruders.

Day 13 Beijing (B, L)
Be met at the rail station and transfer to hotel check in. After lunch, take a 3-wheel rickshaw to Hutong to see the local people's life. Then visit Yonghe Lamasery.

-Hutong Tour: The unique street design in Beijing - some crisscrossing old narrow paths with courtyard houses built on each side. It can be regarded as a window into Beijing folk life.

Day 14 Beijing (B, L, D)
Pay a visit to the Temple of Heaven and the Forbidden City. The rest of the day is at leisure.

-Temple of Heaven: A masterpiece of architecture and landscape design where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation.

-Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China for 24 emperors' reign during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.

Day 15 Beijing (B, L)
Visit Mutianyu Great Wall and Ding Tomb.

-Mutianyu Great Wall: A less visited and more original part of the Great Wall. It is situated where vegetation is luxurious and over 90 percent of the land is covered with grass, forests and fruit trees.

-Ding Tomb: An underground palace for a Ming-dynasty emperors' afterlife.

Day 16 Beijing/Exit (B)
Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the airport.
