Day 1 Arrival / Shanghai
Be met at the airport and transfer to hotel check in.

Day 2 Shanghai (B, L)
After breakfast, enjoy city tour of the Yu Garden, Yu Market, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, The Bund, and Nanjing Road.

-Yu Garden: It used to be a private garden with 400 years' history; it features traditional architectural style of Yangtze Delta.

-Oriental Pearl TV Tower: Best viewing spot of Shanghai located by the Huangpu River with 468 meters high.

-The Bund: Shanghai's famous waterfront to see new-erect modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period.

-Nanjing Road: The busiest shopping street in Shanghai.

Day 3 Shanghai / Guilin (B, L)
Pick up at the hotel and transfer to airport, Be met at the airport and transfer to hotel check in.

Day 4 Guilin/Yangshuo (B, L)
Li River Cruise.

-Li River Cruise: A wonderful 3.5 hour cruise going down a clear river sided by picturesque scenery. Lunch on board.

Day 5 Yangshuo (B, L)
Cycling to visit the countryside of Yangshuo, then enjoy bamboo rafting on Yulong River.

-Bamboo Rafting on Yulong River: It winds its way in a picturesque valley sided by stunning limestone hills. Sitting on a bamboo rafting (twin sharing), you can lie down on the chair smelling the fragrance of rice, enjoying the gentle water buffalo walking on the bank. On the way, you can also slide down some small dams on the raft as a soft adventure. Great fun and exciting!

Day 6 Yangshuo/Guilin / Kunming (B, L)
Drive back to guilin to visit the Reed Flute Cave. Then transfer to the airport for the flight connects to Kunming. Upon arrival, be met at the airport and transfer to hotel check in.

-Reed Flute Cave: Fantastic stalactites & stalagmites formation, known as "Natural Art Gallery".

Day 7 Kunming (B, L)
Make an excursion to the Stone Forest and pay a visit to the local Hani village.

-Stone Forest: The most famous tourist attraction in Kunming - a typical formation of Karst topography.

Day 8 Kunming / Lijiang (B)
Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the airport, Be met at the airport and transfer to hotel check in.

Day 9 Lijiang (B, L)
Today's exploration will include the Joseph Rock's Former Residence at Yuhu Village, Baisha Mural, Shuhe Old Town, Black Dragon Pool Park.

-Baisha Mural: It was painted in Baisha Town in Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), an interesting co-existence of Buddhism, Taoism and Lamaism in the artworks.

-Shuhe Old Town: Shuhe is the earliest settlement of Naxi people in Lijiang when their ancestors first moved to this region. Compared with Lijiang, the town is less touristy and polished with more original characters.

Day 10 Lijiang / Chengdu (B, L)
Pick up at the hotel and transfer to airport, Be met at the airport and transfer to hotel check in.

Day 11 Chengdu (B, L)
Visit the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base prior to driving to admire the Giant Buddha in Leshan.

-Giant Panda Breeding Research Base: Situated on the Axe Hill 10 kilometers north of Chengdu, 40 plus pandas as well as other endangered species like lesser pandas and black-necked crane currently reside at the base in quarters. It was awarded "Global 500" twice by the UN in the year of 1989 and 1994.

-Leshan Giant Buddha: About 125 km south of Chengdu, the 71m-high Giant Buddha is qualified as the largest stone-carved Buddha in the world.

Day 12 Chengdu / Xi'an (B, L)
After breakfast, you're escorted to the airport for the flight to Xi'an. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to hotel check in, then visit the Ancient City Wall.

-Ancient City Wall: The best-kept and biggest city walls in China.

Day 13 Xi'an (B, L)
Today, you'll explore the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, and the Muslim Quarters.

-Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum: One of the most important archaeological finds in the 20 th century; an army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb since 2200 year ago.

Day 14 Xi'an / Chongqing (B, L)
Transfer to the airport and fly to Chongqing. Upon arrival, be picked up to visit Ciqikou Ancient Town including a cable car over the Jialing River.

Day 15 Chongqing (B, L, D)
Enjoy the Dazu Rock Carvings (the section in Mt. Baodingshan), later transfer to the pier and board a Yangtze cruise ship.

Dazu Rock Carvings (Baoding): Listed as a World Heritage Site, the Dazu Rock Carvings are made up of 75 protected sites containing some 50,000 statues, with its location at Dazu County, 60 km west of Chognqing.

Day 16 Three Gorges' Cruise (B, L, D)
Shore excursion to Fengdu or Shibaozhai or Wanzhou.

Day 17 Three Gorges' Cruise (B, L, D)
Sail through Qutang Gorge/Wu Gorge, and make excursion to Daning River, Small Gorges or Shennong Stream. May have an optional excursion to the White Emperor City if the river conditions permit. Continue the journey to Yichang and sail through the Three Gorges dam shiplocks.

Day 18 Yichang / Beijing (B, L)
Morning visit Three Gorges Dam site. About 1:30 pm disembark and transfer to the Three Gorges Airport for the flight to Beijing.

Day 19 Beijing (B, L)
Tour the Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, and Forbidden City.

-Temple of Heaven: A masterpiece of architecture and landscape design where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation.

-Tiananmen Square: The largest city square in the world.

-Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China for 24 emperors' reign during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.

Day 20 Beijing (B, L)
Today's excursion will take you to the Mutianyu Great Wall (including the round-way cable car) and one of the famous Ming Tombs - Changling.

-Mutianyu Great Wall: A less visited and more original part of the Great Wall. It is situated where vegetation is luxurious and over 90 percent of the land is covered with grass, forests and fruit trees.

-Changling: Changling is the tomb for Emperor Yongle, the third Ming emperor, and his wife Empress Xu. He ruled for 22 years and made some achievements in political, military, economic, cultural and diplomatic fields.

Day 21 Beijing (B, L)
Visit the Summer Palace (including a short cruise on Kunming Lake) and Lama Temple, later enjoy a Hutong tour by pedicab.

-the Summer Palace: The largest and best-preserved royal garden in China with a history of over 800 years.

-Yonghe Lama Temple: originally it was a prince mansion of Qing Dynasty , later changed to the head office of Lama administration.

-Hutong Tour: The unique street design in Beijing - some crisscrossing old narrow paths with courtyard houses built on each side. It can be regarded as a window into Beijing folk life.

Day 22 Beijing / Exit (B)
Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the airport.
