Day 01 Arrival in Shanghai
Arrive in Shanghai, be met by local tour guide, and take the famous Magnetic train（speed 460 kmph) and Long Yang station. Then transfer to hotel by private car and have a rest.
Day 02 Shanghai (B, L, D)
In the morning, visit Yu Garden, an exquisite small garden nestled in the old quarters of Shanghai, then pay a visit to a local Shanghaiese family and see the local people’s life. In the afternoon, a private history tour of the Bund to see old & new Shanghai along Huangpu River. Acrobatic show at night.
Day 03 Shanghai - Suzhou -Shanghai (B, L)
Drive to Suzhou for a full day tour, which is famous for gardens, silk and pretty ladies in China. Our first stop will be the Garden of Net Master. Then visit No.1 Silk Factory and Museum, then proceed to Tongli to have a boat ride at the local canal and wander around ancient little town. Transfer back to Shanghai.
Day 04 Shanghai (B, L)
Visit The People’s Square and the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall then onto the famous Shanghai Museum, one of the best in China. In the afternoon, transfer to Tianzifang to enjoy the fun of shopping at the small shops in the narrow lanes.
Day 05 Shanghai - Xian (B, D)
Transfer to airport after breakfast. Fly to Xi'an. Transfer to the hotel. Go and learn how to make Chinese dumplings, and enjoy Tang Dynasty show.
Day 06 Xian (B, L)
Visit Terracotta Warriors Museum in morning. Drive back to the city and visit Chinese herbal medicine market, and stroll at old Muslim quarters.
Day 07 Xian-Beijing (B, L, D)
Visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a less visited spot by tourists, then transfer to the airport and fly to Beijing. Transfer to the hotel. After dinner, transfer to watch Peking Opera and you can see how the actor and actress put on their exquisite make-ups before the show.
Day 08 Beijing
Today we start with the exploration of Tiananmen Square, and then walk through the Gate of Heavenly Peace to enter the Forbidden City to unveil the mystery of Chinese Imperial Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty. In the afternoon, pay a visit to Houhai Area, you can wander around the Hutongs, and see the local people’s life. Enjoy a cup of coffee/tea and relax at local bars.
Day 09 Beijing (B, L)
Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, a less touristy section, round-way cable car included. Then drive to 798 Art Zone, a thriving artistic community to see the modern art works made by Chinese artists.
Day 10 Beijing (B, L)
Today we will visit Temple of Heaven, where the ancient emperor worshipped the God for good harvests and stable reign, and now has become a perfect place for many local seniors to enjoy their lives after retirement. In the afternoon, enjoy the fun of shopping at Silk Market and Wangfujing Avenue.
Day 11 Beijing (B)
Transfer to the airport and fly to your next destination.
