Day 01 Arrival in Shanghai
Arrive in Shanghai, the most dynamic and bustling metropolis in China. Be met and transferred to your luxury hotel at downtown.
Day 02 Shanghai (B, L, D)
In the morning, visit Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition, then proceed to Yu Garden, an exquisite small garden nestled in the old quarters of Shanghai. In the afternoon, a private history tour of the Bund to see old & new Shanghai along Huangpu River. Acrobatic show at night.
Day 03 Shanghai (B, L)
Drive to a nearby water town to see the traditional lifestyle of Yangtze Delta. Stroll at the former French Concession, and enjoy a relaxing moment at Xintiandia, a restored old district of “Shikumen” houses.
Day 04 Shanghai – Guilin (B, L)
Fly to Guilin, be met and transferred to the HOMA Chateau at Yuzi Paradise. Free time at the sculpture park for your own exploration.
Day 05 Yangshuo (B, L, D)
Transfer to Yangshuo, visit Fuli old town, walking on the cobbled stone street, then take a private boat to an undisturbed section of Li River, and visit a little village at the river bank. After lunch, you can choose to bike or take golf car like vehicle to the countryside to see the stunning karst landscape and local farmer’s life. The home visit to a farmer’s house can be arranged. Then spend some free time for shopping at West Street and relax at cozy bars along the street.
Day 06 Guilin – Kunming (B, L, D)
Then drive back to Guilin and visit the Reed Flute Cave, which is the most famous cave with its multicolored lighting and fantastic stalagmites and stalactites. Transfer to the airport and fly to Kunming, be met and transfer to the hotel. Watch Dynamic Yunnan show in the evening.
Day 07 Kunming – Lijiang (B, L, D)
An escorted tour to the section of less visited section of the prestigious Stone Forest, then transfer to the airport and fly to Lijiang to explore the well preserved ancient town of minority Naxi people. Overnight at Banyan Tree Lijiang.
Day 08 Lijiang (B, L, D)
Drive to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and take a cable car up to Spruce Meadow for incredible views of snow-capped peaks; then sit down for an open-air fantastic show of Impression Lijiang,. After lunch, then proceed to see White Water River. Transfer to visit Baisha Village, have lunch and explore the hundred-year-old mural.
Day 09 Lijiang (B, L)
Bike or drive to Shuhe Town for exploration, the original habitat of Naxi people. Visit Black Dragon Pool and Dongba Museum., and take a guided tour at downtown of old Lijiang. Rest of time free.
Day 10 Lijiang – Chengdu (B, L, D)
Transfer to the airport and fly to Chengdu, be met and transferred to visit Jinsha Cultural Relics Musuem, Jinli old street and enjoy the delight of Sichuan cuisine at decent local restaurant. Sichuan opera show at night.
Day 11 Chengdu – Xian (B, L, D)
Morning visit to Panda Breeding Center to see the lovely creatures. Then proceed to visit Qingyang Taoist Temple, and transfer to the airport and fly to Xian.
Day 12 Xian (B, L, D)
Transfer to visit the world-famous Terracotta Warriors Museum in the morning. Drive back to the city and stroll at old Muslim quarters and visit Grand Mosque. Dumpling dinner and Tang Dynasty show in the evening.
Day 13 Xian - Beijing (B, L, D)
Fly to Beijing, transfer to the hotel. We prepare the options for clients to learn how to play Chinese Mahjong, or make Chinese knots / kites with local Beijingers at Hutong, a type of narrow streets or alleys in the old quarters of Beijing, representing the disappearing traditional life of Beijingers. Peking duck dinner at night
Day 14 Beijing (B, L, D)
Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, a less touristy section, round-way cable car included. Then the program is followed by 1-hour relaxing Chinese foot massage. After dinner, go and watch Peking Opera.
Day 15 Beijing (B, L)
Morning visit to Temple of Heaven, where the ancient emperor worshipped the God for good harvests and stable reign, and now has become a perfect place for many local seniors to enjoy their lives after retirement. In the afternoon, pay a visit to 798 Art Zone, the thriving artistic community in Beijing. Free time at the rest of day.
Day 16 Beijing exit (B)
Transfer to airport and fly to your next destination.
