    Day

    Upon your arrival, you will be met by your guide at the airport arrival hall. With the help of your tour guide, you will take the maglev train from airport to Longyang station. This is the first maglev train used in business in the world with the max speed of 430km/h (267 mph). Meet your private car at Longyang station and transfer to hotel at city downtown. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

    Today, you will take a guided city tour by walking and public transports like metro, taxi and online car-hailing. Tour starts from Yu Garden, the best classic garden in Shanghai that should not be missed. The old quarters near the garden will show you the most original life style of Shanghai local people. Enjoy a dim sum lunch in local restaurant, and then go forward to visit Xintiandi and former French Concession, to travel back to the old times of Shanghai. 

    Continue to People's Park (Renmin Park) located at Renmin Square. The Marriage Interview Corner is the highlight of the park. It's a place for single men and ladies (in most cases their parents come for them) to looking for future wives or husbands by writing a note with personal information. Walk through Nanjing Road from Renmin Square, you will get to the Bund, Shanghai's famous waterfront area on the western bank of the Huangpu River. Take taxi back to hotel after the visit.

    Take morning flight to Xi’an, be met at the airport and then transfer to check-in to your hotel in city downtown. After short rest at hotel, your guide will takes you to visit the Ancient City Wall, the best-kept and longest city wall in China. Initially built in Tang Dynasty, through most sections of the wall has been restored or even rebuilt and it stands at 12 metres high. Cycling on the city wall (optional) will give you great views of the city. Then you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the city emblem, which was first built in Tang Dynasty for the storage of Buddhist scriptures taken from India by Monk Xuanzang. Transfer back to your hotel.

    Small Wild Goose Pagoda

    After breakfast, with the escort of your guide, head off to the outskirts of Xi’an to the site of the Terracotta Warriors and Horse. Spend around two hours there, to visit the buried army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at Emperor Qin's tomb since 2200 year ago. If time permit, we will visit a family who still leave in Cave Dwelling. The cave dwelling is an ancient form residence at the Loess Plateau in northwestern China. At appropriate time, transfer to airport for your departure. End of your 4 days Shanghai and Xi’an Tour.
