Day

Arrival in Shanghai, you will be picked up at the airport, and transfer to visit Shanghai History Museum to gain knowledge about the history of Shanghai, then proceed to the Bund, where is the waterfront to see newly-erected modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period. Optional acrobatic show at night.

After breafast, visit Jade Buddha Temple, which is the most popular Buddhist temple in Shanghai boasting 2 precious jade Buddha sculptures from Burma. Then pay a visit to Tianzifang old district to enjoy the shopping fun. After that, drive to Suzhou, take a three-wheel rickshaw to see the old town.

Visit Garden of Net Master - the smallest among the four most famous classic gardens in Suzhou, yet it is the most impressive one. Then go to No.1 Silk Factory, with a history of more than 80 years, it enjoys a high reputation in the silk industry. After lunch, transfer to the train station to head for Nanjing.

Garden of Net Master

Spend the whole day to explore some famous attractions in Nanjing. After breakfast, visit the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. Located at the southern foot of Mount Zijin in the eastern suburb of Nanjing, it is the burial site of the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang. Then go to the Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. Located at the southern foot of Mount Xiaomaoshan, it is the last resting place of the "Father of Modern China" both in mainland China and in Taiwan. In the evening, enjoy a cruise along the Qinhuai River, where is the birthplace of the age-old Nanjing culture and beautifully lit up at night.

Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen

After breakfast, pick you up at hotel and take you to the Memorial of the Nanjing Massacre. It was built in 1985 by the Nanjing Municipal Government in memory of the 300,000 victims who lost their lives during the Nanjing Massacre made by Japanese army in 1937-1938. Then visit the ancient Zhonghua Gate, which is a renowned ancient city gate in China and has the most complex structure of any city gate in the world. After lunch, transfer to railway station to take speed train to Qufu (3.5 hours) the hometown of the Chinese sage Confucius. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to the hotel.

After breakfast, visit the Kong Family Mansion first. The direct descendants of Confucius lived in the Kong family mansion located to the east of the temple. Today, the mansion comprises 152 buildings with 480 rooms, which cover an area of 12,470 square meters. Then go to Temple of Confucius, covers an area of 16,000 square meters and has a total of 460 rooms, it is the second largest historical building complex in China (after the Forbidden City). At last, pay a visit to the Cemetery of Confucius, lies to the north of the town of Qufu, it is the oldest graves found in this location date back to the Zhou Dynasty (770-256B.C.). Afterwards, drive back to Tai'an for overnight stay.

Temple of Confucius

Go up to the top of Mt. Tai by cable car, which is known as the leader and foremost of the "Five Great Mountains" in China. It has been renowned to the world since 1987, after entering UNESCO's list of both World Natural and Cultural Heritage Sites. And visit the Dai Taoist Temple at the foot, then transfer to the train station to head for Tianjin by high speed train (1.5 hours). Upon arrival, be met and transferred to the hotel.

Visit Ancient Culture Street, the overall construction has the folk architectural style of Qing dynasty, there are nearly hundreds of stores selling Chinese artcrafts along the street. Then pay a visit to Goddess Palace, a famous Taoist temple and was built to fete Goddess, who is the queen of heaven. It is situated at the middle section of the Ancient Culture Street. Proceed to Shi Family Compound to appreciate its unique architecture style. Later, transfer to the train station and head for Beijing by high speed rail (0.5 hour). Upon arrival, be met and transferred to the hotel.

Private escorted tour Temple of Heaven which is one of Beijing's most impressive sites in terms of architecture, color and significance and was used by Emperor to communicate directly with Heaven. After visiting it, we go across the most famous Tiananmen Square, that is the heart of Beijing and the world's largest city center square. And then go to the Forbidden City, which is officially known as the Imperial Palace Museum and has a long history over 500 years. At night, a delicious and special Peking duck dinner is well-prepared.

Temple of Heaven

Private escorted tour to Mutianyu Great Wall is arranged in the morning. As the old saying goes, "One who fails to reach the Great Wall is not a hero". Therefore, it is the must-see site during your Beijing trip. Transfer back to downtown in the afternoon and have a pedicab tour to Hutongs. In the old days, Beijing City is like a boxy bean curd or a chess board with each Hutong lying due north to due south or due east to due west.
