Arrive at Beijing, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel at downtown.

Private escorted tour to China's existing building complex of nearly 600 years old for offering sacrifice to heaven by the emperors - Temple of Heaven. Then visit Tiananmen Square, locates at the heart of Beijing, is the world's largest city center square which witnesses the development of China. And then the Forbidden City, nominated as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1987, is the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. At night, the epitome of Beijing cuisine Peking Duck dinner is arranged.

Temple of Heaven

Private escorted tour to Mutianyu Great Wall (round-way cable car) --the largest construction scale and best quality among all sections of Great Wall that connects with Jiankou in the west and Lianhuachi and Jinshanling in the east. Later, drive back and enjoy a 3-wheel rickshaw Hutong tour. Namely Beijing's traditional alleyways, Hutong is where to see the local people's life and traditional civilian architecture in North China.

Transfer to take a morning high speed train to Chengde 250km which is northeast to Beijing. Chengde got its fame as "summer capital" when Qing emperors constructed imperial palace and spent their summers there. Be met by the local guide and transferred to your hotel. Visit the Imperial Summer Villa of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). Within the resort, there are more than 20 building complex scattered throughout the park, consisting of more than 100 individual halls, pavilions, studios, pagodas and terraces. Later, visit Shuangta Shan (Dual Pagoda Mountains) to view the unique stone pillars with two pagodas on top. The construction of these ancient pagodas remains a mystery as they are situated on top of such a steep mountains.

Imperial Summer Villa of Qing Dynasty

In the morning, visit Puning Temple, a Buddhist temple complex built in 1755, during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor to show the Qing's respect to Tibetan Buddhism. Then pay a visit to Putuozongsheng Temple, which is the largest of the eight remaining outer temples in Chengde, with an area of 220,000 square meters. After lunch, drive 160km southwestward to Eastern Qing Tombs and visit the Yu Tomb of Emperor Qianlong and Empress Dowager Cixi. Later, head for Beijing.

Transfer to take a speed train to Tianjin, be met and transferred to visit the Wudadao (Five Avenue), and Porcelain House (China House), a western-style mansion decorated with Chinese porcelains. Then proceed to visit Jing Garden, which used to be the residence of Puyi, the last emperor of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

Wudadao (Five Avenue)

Drive to the outskirt of Tianjin to see the Family Shi Mansion first built in 1875. After lunch, go to see Tianjin Ancient Cultural Street, and walk along the Binjiang Road to do some shopping. Then transfer to take a speed train back to Beijing.

Free time at leisure, until you will be picked up to transfer to the airport and fly to your next destination.
