Arrive in Shanghai. Our guide will meet you at the airport & transfer to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Visit 3 highlights today: first, visit Shanghai Museum, a large museum of ancient Chinese art which is divided into eleven galleries and three exhibition halls with a collection of over 120,000 pieces. Secondly, pay a visit to Yu Garden to appreciate its brilliant historical garden art and have a leisurely stroll in it. At last, go to the Jade Buddha Temple, which is the most popular Buddhist temple in Shanghai boasting 2 precious jade Buddha sculptures from Burma.

In the morning, Visit Oriental Pearl TV Tower and wander around the old quarters of Shanghai to get close to Shanghai people's life and appreciate the architecture style there. Then proceed to the Bund and Nanjing Road – as it is known to all, the Bund is the waterfront to see new-erect modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period. Then transfer to Beijing.

Enjoy the free time until your guide escort you to airport for you flight to Xi’an. Upon arrival, transfer to visit Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It is known as the eighth wonder of the world and a museum to display terra-cotta warriors and horses in Qin Dynasty (221-207B.C.).

After breakfast, go to the Shaanxi History Museum, which boats a large collection of unearthed cultural relics of China. Then visit the Ancient City Wall, the best-kept and biggest city walls in China – 13,912 meters in circumference, 12 meters in height, and the foundation is 18 meters in width and the top of the wall is 15 meters wide. Later, go to the Wild Goose Pagoda - the city emblem, which was first built in Tang Dynasty (618-907) for the storage of Buddhist scriptures taken from India by Monk Xuanzang.

Take a leisurely Li River cruise, and disembark at the beautiful small town famous for its Karst landscape - Yangshuo. At Yangshuo, you can have a free afternoon for your own exploration. At night, the West Street is a must-go where shows lively nightlife with both Chinese and western style. Besides, you can also go to watch the optional evening show 'Impression Sanjie Liu' on the natural stage along Li River.

Drive to Longji to see the rice terraces. It is a feat of farm engineering which was first built in Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). Then visit Ping An Zhuang Village, where you can know about Zhuang people's life, customs, etc.

Fly to Hong Kong, free at leisure in the rest of day.

Visit the Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay and Stanley Market. Transfer to airport to connect your flight to Hanoi.

After breakfast, explore the capital city of Vietnam. In the morning, visit the Hochiminh Mausoleum and his former, the One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Vietnam Museum of Ethnology or Vietnam History Museum, Hoan Kiem Lake and take a walk at the old quarter of Hanoi. After that, enjoy the traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. In the evening, board the overnight train to Lao Cai to discover the mountain tribes in northern Vietnam. Overnight on the train.

Hochiminh Mausoleum

In early morning around 6:30 am, arrive in Lao Cai train station. Your local guide will pick you up and then escort you to your hotel in the Sapa. Have a breakfast in hotel and take a short rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a soft trekking tour in the beautiful rice terrace, visit the Ta Van Village and Red Dao Village to explore the local ethnic tribe Back H’mong and Giang Ta Chai.

After breakfast, drive to Bac Ha Market (approximately 2.5 hours drive). Visit the local market and experience the daily life of ethnic minority. In the afternoon, visit the Trung Do village to enjoy a water buffalo cart ride at the beautiful rice fields and the village to the riverside, and then take a boat trip, travel along the Chay River for about 30 minutes. Then transfer to train station, take the overnight train back to Hanoi.

Arrive in Hanoi in early morning, visit to the morning flower market. After breakfast, drive to Halong City. Enjoy the beautiful view along road. Upon arrival, board the cruise for relaxing. You can absolutely enjoy the sun shine. When you get to shore will explore a beautiful cave, visit a local fishing village and interact with local fishermen. After that, enjoy your dinner while enjoying a charming sun set.

After breakfast, you can join a Thai Chi lesson for some morning exercise. Visit a limestone grotto in the morning and disembark around 11:00 am then transfer back to hotel in Hanoi. Check in and free at leisure at night.
