Hidden deep in the dramatic karst mountains, this 600-year-old town has been inhabited by Tunpu people, who are dependents of Ming Dynasty army and have inherited their own language, the style of dressing and dwelling. Today, you can still see Tunpu people dressed in loose blue robe continuing their way of living.
