Morning visit Three Gorges Dam site
Sail through the Three Gorges shiplocks and Xiling Gorge

Day 3

Excursion to Daning River Small Gorges or Shennong Stream
Pass through Wu Gorge/Qutang Gorge

Day 4

Shore excursion to Shibaozhai or Wanzhou

Day 5

9:00 am disembark Chongqing

7 DAYS/6 NIGHTS DOWNSTREAM ITINERARY

Day 1

11:00 am depart Chongqing
5:00 pm/7:30 pm shoe excursion to Fengdu

Day 2

8:00 am/1:00 pm excursion to Daning River Small Gorges
6:00 pm/10:00 pm sail through Three Gorges Dam Ship locks

Day 3

8:00 am/10:30 am visit to Three Gorges Dam site
11:00 am reboard ship at Yichang dock

Day 4

12:00 noon/3:00 pm shore excursion of Wuhan, visiting the Hubei Provincial Museum

Day 5

9:00 am/8:00 pm shore excursion to Huangshan ("Yellow Mountain").
(Jiuhuanshan or "Mountain of the Nine Lotuses" may be substituted if weather or road conditions do not permit a visit to Huangshan.)

Day 6

Full day tour of Nanjing including Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and a Qing Dynasty style Bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple;
9:00 pm Leave Nanjing for Shanghai

Day 7

10:00 am arrive Shanghai metro area; Disembark at Yangzhou dock and transfer to downtown Shanghai. In 2006, beginning with the April 28th sailing, we will sail to downtown Shanghai.

9 DAYS/8 NIGHTS UPSTREAM ITINERARY

Day 1

Transfer from downtown Shanghai to Yangzhou dock for 10:00 pm embarkation
(For those using Victoria"s transfer, depart downtown Shanghai at 5:00pm.) In 2006, beginning with the May 4th sailing, we will sail from downtown Shanghai.

Day 2

Full day tour of Nanjing including Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum and a Qing Dynasty style bazaar surrounding a Confucian Temple

Day 3

7:00 am/5:00 pm shore excursion to Huangshan ("Yellow Mountain"). (Jiuhuashan or "Mountain of the Nine Lotuses" may be substituted if weather or road conditions do not permit a visit to Huangshan.)

Day 4

4:00 pm/7:00 pm shore excursion of Wuhan visiting the Hubei Provincial Museum

Day 5

Sailing through the Yangtze River

Day 6

7:30 am arrive Yichang; 8:00 am/9:30 am sail through Gezhou Dam; 1:00 pm/3:30 pm visit Three Gorges Dam site; 4:00 pm/8:00 pm sail through Three Gorges Dam ship lock

Day 7

Sail through Wu Gorge
9:00 am/2:00 pm excursion to Daning River Small Gorges

Day 8

8:30 am/12:00 noon shore excursion to Fengdu

Day 9

8:30 am disembark Chongqing
