3 highlights of Shanghai today: first, visit Shanghai Museum, a large museum of ancient Chinese art which is divided into eleven galleries and three exhibition halls with a collection of over 120,000 pieces. Secondly, pay a visit to Yu Garden to appreciate its brilliant historical garden art and have a leisurely stroll in it. At last, go to the Jade Buddha Temple, which is the most popular Buddhist temple in Shanghai boasting 2 precious jade Buddha sculptures from Burma.

- Shanghai Acrobatic show is available at night with various kinds of traditional and modern Chinese tricks such as jumping-through-the-hoops, plate-spinning, hat-swapping by eight performers, motorbike global cage, and so on. Both the adults and children will be marveled.

In the morning, wander around the old quarters of Shanghai to get close to Shanghai people's life and appreciate the architecture style there. Then proceed to the Bund and Nanjing Road-- as it is known to all, the Bund is the waterfront to see new-erect modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period, while Nanjing Road is the busiest shopping street. Later, transfer to airport and fly to Guilin. Guilin is one of most beautiful places in China.

Take a relaxing Li River cruise to savor the dramatic scenery and surreal Karst peaks. Disembark at the beautiful small town famous for its Karst landscape - Yangshuo. At Yangshuo, you can have a free afternoon for your own exploration. At night, the West Street is a must-go where shows lively nightlife with both Chinese and western style. Besides, you can also go to watch the optional evening show 'Impression Sanjie Liu' on the natural stage along Li River.

Take a golf car to the countryside of Yangshuo to see the stunning scenery, rice paddies, water buffalo and local farmer's life. After it, drive back to Guilin and visit Reed Flute Cave near Guilin downtown--inside this water-eroded cave is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations created by carbonate deposition. Drive to Longji to see the rice terraces. It is a feat of farm engineering which was first built in Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). Walk to the observation deck to take great photos of endles rice terraces. Then visit Ping An Zhuang Village, where you can know about Zhuang people's life, customs, and perhaps be invited by friendly host into their homes, etc.
Kind Reminder
- From the parking lot to your hotel, you are supposed to walk about 30 minutes up to your hotel. There’s no regular vehicle that can be used to transport visitors or luggage. The walking distance depends on the location of your hotel. We suggest that you leave the big luggage at the hotel at the foot of the mountain and take a small bag with you up to hotel for the one night stay. Or you may hire a local porter to transport your luggage with a fee of about RMB100 per person (round way).

In the morning, free time for your own exploration of the village, the terraced fields and the nearby area. Enjoy the tranquility and peaceful life here. In the afternoon, take flight to Xian. Be met and transferred to hotel. Xian was the capital of ancient China for about 1000 years and boasts numerous historical sites. It is also the starting point of Silk Road.

Transfer to visit Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It is known as the eighth wonder of the world and a museum to display thousands of terra-cotta warriors and horses in Qin Dynasty (221-207B.C.). Learn from your guide about the legendary history and stories. Later, go to the Wild Goose Pagoda-- the city emblem, which was first built in Tang Dynasty (618--907) for the storage of Buddhist scriptures taken from India by Monk Xuanzang. It is also iconic landmark of the Silk Road.

After breakfast, go to the Shaanxi History Museum, one of the most famous historical museums in China, which boats a large collection of unearthed cultural relics of China. Then visit the Ancient City Wall, the best-kept and biggest city walls in China--13,912 meters in circumference, 12 meters in height, and the foundation is 18 meters in width and the top of the wall is 15 meters wide. An optional bike ride on the city wall is recommended if want to execise your feet. Later, take a late afternoon flight to Beijing. Be met and transferred to hotel.

Take a private escorted tour to go to the Tiananmen Square, located at the heart of Beijing, is the world's largest city center square and the heart of China. Secondly, go to the Forbidden City, officially as the Imperial Palace Museum, was constructed between 1406 and 1420 by the Ming emperor Zhu Di and witnessed the enthronement of 14 Ming and 10 Qing emperors over the following 505 years. The Summer Palace comes the last one on the plan. Its 70,000 square meters of building space features a variety of palaces, gardens and other ancient-style architectural structures.

- The Legend of Kong Fu is a must-see show in Beijing for tourists and Kung Fu lovers. A group of the best Kung Fu practitioners of China are collected and the best directors and designers of the country are invited by CHC. There are English subtitles shown above the stage to keep you informed of the story line. There is no speaking of the actors, just Kung fu show, dance and acrobatics. The fusion of modern dance with Chinese traditional martial arts makes this performance unique and spectacular.

Private escorted tour to the Mutianyu Great Wall, the greatest of the eight ancient architectural wonders in the history of human civilization. You may wonder how it was built. Then go to Ming Tomb, about 50 kilometers from the northwest of Beijing, is the best preserved Chinese imperial tombs and have been nominated by UNESCO as world cultural heritage. The Sacred Road, namely "the way leading to Heaven", is affiliated with Ming Tomb. At night, a famous and delicious Peking Duck Banquet is offered.
