Day

Arrive in Nanning. Be met by your driver & transfer to your hotel.

Head for Mingshi Scenic Area (3 hours), which is known as “Small Guilin” and a photographers’ paradise. Enjoy yourself with the tranquil world of fresh air and intoxicating scenery (the entrance fee of Mingshi is at your own expense). After lunch, visit Detian Waterfall. Explore the second largest transnational waterfall in the world, bordering with Vietnam (2-hour hiking). Then pay a visit to Zhuang ancient village, which is the best preserved Zhuang style ancient village with original ecology in local area. Strolling in the village, feeling the true nature and discovering the real life of the Zhuang people will be a great fun.

Tips:

1. Because of the early departure, the hotel dining room may not be opened, so we suggest you order an on-the-go breakfast with the hotel on the night before.

2. Electromobile fee in the Detian Waterfall Scenic Area: RMB 10 per person (one-way trip);

3. Bamboo Raft fee in the Detian Waterfall Scenic Area: RMB 30 per person.

Detian Waterfall

After breakfast, drive to visit the border underground Great Wall to discover various striking war defense works and admire peculiar border views. Then head for Tongling Grand Canyon in Jingxi country (4.5 hours) for Nianba Gorge, Tongling Gorge, Tongling waterfalls, ancient suspended coffins and some primordial vegetation. After lunch, we’ll assemble at the designated place and drive to Bama (350 km / 4.5 hours).

1. Please pay attention to safety when you visit the Tongling Grand Canyon.

2. Electromobile fee in the Tongling Scenic Area: RMB 5 per person.


After breakfast, proceed to Hundred-bird Karst Cave. And then visit Magic Cave. It’s celebrated as “the most spectacular cave in the world” by the British Cave Research Association and a fashionable health resort with high concentrations of negative oxygen ions. Later, visit the Bama Longevity Tunnel and Bama longevity Village. The centenarians will share the secrets of longevity with us. After lunch, we will drive back to Nanning.

While communicate with the centenarians about the secrets of longevity, according to local custom, you can prepare red envelopes to wish the centenarians good health and happy.

Free at leisure in the morning. Then arrange transportation on your own to train station.
