Day 2 Beijing (B, L, D)
Today's scenic cruising takes you to Tiananmen Square, The Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Forbidden City, Jingshan (Coal Hill), and Temple of Heaven. Tonight, enjoy Beijing Roast Duck Dinner.

-Tiananmen Square: The largest city square in the world.

-Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China for 24 emperors' reign during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.

-Temple of Heaven: A masterpiece of architecture and landscape design where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation.

-Beijing Roast Duck Dinner: Considered of the highest quality throughout the world, Peking Roast Duck is made of a rare sort of duck in Beijing.

Day 3 Beijing / Chengde(B, L)
Drive to see the famous wild great wall - Jinshanling Great Wall. Continue your trip to Chengde.

-Jinshanling Great Wall: It is an exemplary section of the Great Wall and hence comes the saying that Jinshanling section is the most quintessential of the 10,000 li Great Wall.

Day 4 Chengde / Beijing (B, L)
A guided tour will show you the Mountain Resort's architectural highlights, including the Putuo Zongcheng Temple and Puning Temple (Temple of Universal Peace).

-The Mountain Resort: The Chengde Mountain Resort (Bi Shu Shan Zhuang) or literally Fleeing-the Heat Mountain Villa was the biggest garden of the imperial family in the Qing Dynasty. In 1994, the Mountain Resort and its surrounding temples were designated as a world Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.

-Putuo Zongcheng Temple: The temple is also known as the Lesser Potala Palace. Built within more than 4 years from 1767 to 1771, the temple is located north of the Mountain Resort. Putuozongsheng is modeled on the Potala Palace in Tibet; hence, it is nicknamed as "Lesser Potala Palace".

-Puning Temple (Temple of Universal Peace) - The Temple houses the world's tallest wooden sculpture of the Bodhisattva Avalokitevara (22.28-meter-high and 110-ton), hence the Puning Temple is often nicknamed the "Big Buddha Temple".

Day 5 Beijing / Datong (B)
Pick up at the hotel and transfer to rail station. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to hotel check in. 

Day 6 Datong(B, L)
Enjoy full-day tour of Yungang Grottoes (Yungang Buddhist Caves).

-Yungang Grottoes (aka Yungang Buddhist Caves): Located 16 kilometers west of Datong city, the Yungang Grottoes are hewn out of cliff-sides in a honeycomb pattern, stretching for 1,000 meters (1 km) from east to west. The Grottoes were built more than 1,500 years ago in the Northern Wei Dynasty.

Day 7 Datong/Taiyuan / Pingyao (B, L)
Transfer to bus station, be met on arrival in Taiyuan bus station. Then, visit Jinci Temple.

- Jinci Temple: First built in Northern Wei Dynasty in memory of the founder of the country - Shu Yu.

Day 8 Pingyao (B, L)
Explore Pingyao Ancient Town and The Wang Family Courtyard House.

-Pingyao Ancient Town: During the Qing Dynasty, Pingyao was a financial center of China. It is now renowned for its well-preserved ancient city wall, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

-The Wang Family Courtyard House: Located in Jingsheng Town, Lingshi County, 35 kilometers (about 22 miles) from Pingyao, it is an excellent example of Chinese residential architecture style and has been turned into a museum.

Day 9 Pingyao / Xi'an (B)
Transfer to the Railway Station for the train (soft sleeper) to Xi'an.

Day 10 Xi'an (B, L, D)
Visit Shaanxi History Museum, Ancient City Wall, and Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

-Shaanxi History Museum: One of the main museums in China boasting a large collection of unearthed cultural relics of China.

-Ancient City Wall: The best-kept and biggest city walls in China.

-Big Wild Goose Pagoda: The city emblem, which was first built in Tang Dynasty for the storage of Buddhist scriptures taken from India by Monk Xuanzang.

Day 11 Xi'an (B, L)
Enjoy a guided tour to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum followed by free time in the city. 

-Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum: One of the most important archaeological finds in the 20 th century; an army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb since 2200 year ago.

Day 12 Xi'an / Guilin
Pick up at the hotel and transfer to airport. Be met at the airport and transferred to hotel check in.

Day 13 Guilin (B, L)
Today, your sightseeing tour takes you to Mount Yao from where you can enjoy a splendid view of Guilin (including round-way chair-lift). Then, continue to visit Elephant Trunk Hill, Palace of Prince Jingjiang, and Reed Flute Cave.

-Mount Yao: It boasts because of the natural beauty and the highest mountain in Guilin city. There are different views in different season. Spring the mountain is full of colorful azaleas, summers has pine and bamboo to view. The mountain is covers with the red maple leaves and chrysanthemum flowers in autumn, and snow flakes covers all over the mountain in winter. You can have a panoramic view about the whole city.

-Elephant Trunk Hill: It is the symbol of Guilin. The shape of the rock is just like a giant elephant drinking water from river with its trunk, hence the name. Standing atop the rock, you can see the beautiful panoramic view of the town.

-Palace of Prince Jingjiang: It is commonly known as Wang Cheng (Prince City), located in the inner city of Guilin, built from 1372 to 1392AD in the Ming Dynasty, close to the Solitary Beauty Peak (Duxiu Feng). It was originally the official residence of Zhu Shouqian--the great-nephew of Zhu Yuanzhang (the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty).

-Reed Flute Cave: Fantastic stalactites & stalagmites formation, known as "Natural Art Gallery".

Day 14 Guilin/Yangshuo (B, L)
Cruise along the Li River and reach Yangshuo this early afternoon. The rest of the day, you can do some independent exploration in this beautiful town.

-Li River Cruise: A wonderful 3.5 hour cruise going down a clear river sided by picturesque scenery.

Day 15 Guilin / Hong Kong (B)
Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the airport. Be met at the airport and transferred to hotel check in.

Day 16 Hong Kong / Exit
Pick up at the hotel and transfer to the airport.
