Day 01 Arrival in Chengdu
Arrive in Chengdu, be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

Day 02 Chengdu (B, L, D)
Visit Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, Jinsha Site Museum and Jinli Old Street.
-Giant Panda Breeding Research Base: Situated on the Axe Hill 10 kilometers north of Chengdu, 40 plus pandas as well as other endangered species like lesser pandas and black-necked crane currently reside at the base in quarters. It was awarded "Global 500" twice by the UN in the year of 1989 and 1994.

Day 03 Chengdu (B, L)
Drive to visit Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest stone-caved Buddha in the world. Then drive back to Qingyang Taoist Temple to learn about Chinese Taoist.

Day 04 Chengdu /Lhasa (B)
Pick up at the hotel and transfer to airport. Be met at the airport and transfer to hotel for check in and acclimatization.

Day 05 Lhasa (B, L)
Visit The Potala Palace, Barkhor Street and The Jokhang Temple.

-Barkhor Street: an area of narrow streets located around Jokhang Temple in Lhasa, it is the most popular devotional circumabulation for pilgrims and locals.

-The Potala Palace: a monumental building of Lhasa served as administrative center, seat of government, monastery, fortress and the home of all the Dalai Lamas from the Fifth to the Fourteenth in the past, a UNESCO world cultural heritage site of 1994.

-The Jokhang Temple: 1300+ years old with a golden roof and the most sacred and important temple for most Tibetans..

Day 06 Lhasa (B, L)
Norbulingka, Sera Monastery and Tibet Museum.

-Norbulingka: it used to be the Summer Palace of the Dalai Lama. Among artificial gardens, Norbulingka is the biggest, the best scenic and the most historic one in Tibet. Nowadays, it is the public park for local people.

-Drepung Monastery: first built in 1416, it was once the biggest monasteries in Tibet.

Day 07 Lhasa / Shigatse (B, L)
Drive to visit Palkhor Monastery, on the way to stop at Yamdrok Lake. Overnight at Shigatze.

-Palkhor Monastery: a unique monastery housing three schools of Tibetan Buddhism: Sakya, Gelugpa and Gedang. It also features a well-known "Kumbum Stupa", meaning a hundred thousand images.

-Yamdrok Lake: one of the three largest sacred lakes in Tibet, it is surrounded by many snow-capped mountains with breath-taking views.

Day 08 Shigatse / Lhasa (B, L)
In the morning, visit Tashilhunpo Monastery. Then drive back to Lhasa.

-Tashilhunpo Monastery: one of the Six Big Monasteries of Gelugpa (or Yellow Hat Sect) in Tibet. It is the seat of the Panchen Lama since the Fourth Panchen Lama took charge in the monastery.

Day 09 Lhasa / Chongqing (B, L, D)
Morning flight to Chongqing, be met and transferred to visit Three Gorges Museum, Ciqikou Old Town, Jiefangbei Shopping area. After dinner, transfer to board the Yangtze cruise ship.

Day 10 Yangtze Cruise (B, L, D)
Shore excursion to Fengdu, the ghost city of China.

Day 11 Yangtze Cruise (B, L, D)
Shore excursion to Shennong Stream or Lesser Three Gorges.

Day 12 Yichang / Shanghai (B, L)
Arrive in Yichang at noon time. After lunch, transfer to the airport and fly to Shanghai.
