Upon Arrival, meet your private local guide at the airport, and transfer with a private vehicle to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at leisure. You may rest at hotel. After breakfast, drive to the south suburb of Guiyang City for Qingyan Old Town, known as the southern gateway of Guiyang and one of the “top four ancient towns in Guizhou”. It was built in 1378 during the Ming Dynasty to assemble an army, and today still retains its ancient layout with a plethora of Ming and Qing architectures, temples, memorial archways, celebrities’ former residences, etc. Then move to Anshun City and visit Tianlong Tunbao (Denon Tunpu) Town, an ancient strategic post on the road toward Yunnan. Hidden deep in the dramatic karst mountains, this 600-year-old town has been inhabited by Tunpu people, who are dependents of Ming Dynasty army and have inherited their own language, the style of dressing and dwelling. Today, you can still see Tunpu people dressed in loose blue robe continuing their way of living.

This morning, head into Dragon Palace Scenic Area with a set of notable karst landforms, from karst cave, canyon, hoodoos and peak clusters to karst rivers, waterfalls and streams. It holds two Guinness records - the largest group of karst caves and the place with the lowest emissivity in the world. You can also find more than 1200 species of natural Chinese herbal plants in Dragon Palace, such as ginkgo, hibiscus, ten Chinese medicinal plants, ginseng, codonopsis, pinellia, honeysuckle, etc., making it a treasure house of Chinese herbal medicine. Then hit the 24-bend Road, one of the most precipitous roads in China. The zig-zag road is about 350 meters as the crow flies from the foot to the top of the mountain, with the vertical height of 260 meters. It has been witness to the World War II and several Mountain Climb Races in the last decades. Stay overnight in Xingyi, the capital of Guizhou Southwest Bouyei and Miao Autonomous Prefecture.
