Day 01 Arrival in Beijing
Landing at Beijing Capital International Airport, be met by local tour guide, transfer to the hotel.

Day 02 Beijing (B, L, D)
Today we start with the exploration of Tiananmen Square, then walk through the Gate of Heavenly Peace to enter the Forbidden City to unveil the mystery of Chinese Imperial Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty. In the afternoon, we will have options for clients to learn how to play Chinese Mahjong, or make Chinese knots / kites with local Beijingers at Hutong, a type of narrow streets or alleys in the old quarters of Beijing, representing the disappearing traditional life of Beijingers. Day 03 Beijing (B, L, D)
Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, a less touristy section, round-way cable car included. Then the program is followed by 1-hour relaxing Chinese foot massage. After dinner, go and watch Peking Opera, and you can see how the actor and actress put on their exquisite make-ups before the show.
 
Day 04 Beijing (B, L)
Morning visit to Temple of Heaven, where the ancient emperor worshipped the God for good harvests and stable reign, and now has become a perfect place for many local seniors to enjoy their lives after retirement. In the afternoon, enjoy the fun of shopping at Silk Market and Wangfujing Avenue.  

Day 05 Beijing – Xian (B, D)
Transfer to the airport and fly to Xian. Transfer to the hotel. Visit Bell Tower at downtown, go and learn how to make Chinese dumplings, and enjoy Tang Dynasty show.

Day 06 Xian (B, L)
Visit Terracotta Warriors Museum in the morning. Drive back to the city and visit Chinese herbal medicine market, and stroll at old Muslim quarters and visit Grand Mosque.

Day 07 Xian – Lhasa (B, D)
Transfer to fly to Lhasa of Tibet, be met and transferred to the hotel. Rest for acclimatization.

Day 08 Lhasa (B, L)
Today we first visit the holy Potala Palace, the symbolic architecture of Tibet, then proceed to tour Johkang Temple, and stroll at Barkhor Street, where you will many Tibetan pilgrims walk clockwise around the Temple for praying. You can have a break at tea house of Ani Sangkhung Nunnery nearby.

Day 09 Lhasa (B, L)
Drive to Drepung Monastery, once was the largest temple of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Then proceed to visit Sera Monastery, which is famous for monk debates. Pay a visit to a Tibetan family.

Day 10 Lhasa – Chengdu (B, L, D)
Transfer to fly to Chengdu. Be met and transferred to visit Leshan Giant Buddha by cruise, the largest stone-carved Buddha in the world. Then drive back to the hotel at Chengdu.

Day 11 Chengdu – Lijiang (B, L, D)
Transfer to Panda Breeding Center to see the lovely creatures, Jinsha Cultural Relics Museum, and stroll at Jinli Old Street. Take an evening flight to Lijiang.

Day 12 Lijiang (B, L)
Drive to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and take chairlift up to Yak Meadow, enjoy the stunning view of snow-capped mountains, then proceed to see White Water River. Transfer to visit Baisha Village, have lunch and explore the hundred-year-old mural.

Day 13 Lijiang (B, L)
Bike or drive to Shuhe Town for exploration, the original habitat of Naxi people. Visit Black Dragon Pool and Dongba Museum, and take a guided tour at downtown of old Lijiang. Rest of time free.

Day 14 Lijiang – Kunming – Guilin (B, D)
Transfer to the airport and fly to Kunming, then connect the flight to Guilin. Be met and transfer to the hotel.

Day 15 Guilin-Yangshuo (B, L)
Take a leisurely cruise down Li River, disembark at Yangshuo. Wander around the famous West Street for shopping. Then stay at a hotel in the countryside to enjoy the fantastic view and peacefulness.

Day 16 Yangshuo  - Guilin (B, L)
Bike or take a golf-car like vehicle to the countryside to see the fabulous natural landscape and local farmer’s life, then take 1-hour Bamboo rafting on Yulong River. Transfer back to Guilin and visit Reed Flute Cave and walk around the central lakes at downtown.

Day 17 Guilin-Chongqing (B, L, D)
Transfer back to the airport and fly to Chongqing. Visit Three Gorges Museum and Ciqikou Ancient Town, and free shopping excursion at Jiefangbei area, after dinner, board the Yangtze cruise.

Day 18 Yangtze cruise (B, L, D)
On board, shore excursion to Fengdu, the Ghost City.

Day 19 Yangtze Cruise (B, L, D)
On board, shore excursion to Shennong Stream or Lesser Three Gorges.

Day 20 Yichang – Shanghai (B, L, D)
Shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam, and disembark at Yichang. After lunch, transfer to the airport and fly to Shanghai. Acrobatic show at night.

Day 21 Shanghai (B, L)
In the morning, visit Yu Garden, an exquisite small garden nestled in the old quarters of Shanghai, then pay a visit to a local Shanghaiese family and see the local people’s life. In the afternoon, a private history tour of the Bund to see old & new Shanghai along Huangpu River.

Day 22 Shanghai (B, L)
Visit The People’s Square and the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall then onto the famous Shanghai Museum, one of the best in China. In the afternoon, transfer to Tianzifang to enjoy the fun of shopping at the small shops in the narrow lanes.

Day 23 Shanghai exit (B)
Transfer to the airport and fly to your next destination.
