Day 01 Arrival in Beijing (No meal)
Landing at Beijing Capital International Airport, you will be met by local tour guide, transfer to the hotel.

Day 02 Beijing (B, L, D)

Today we start with the exploration of Tiananmen Square, the world's largest city center square and the center of Beijing. Then walk through the Gate of Heavenly Peace to enter the Forbidden City to unveil the mystery of Chinese Imperial Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty. In the afternoon, we will have options for clients to learn how to play Chinese Mahjong, or make Chinese knots / kites with local Beijingers at Hutong, a type of narrow streets or alleys in the old quarters of Beijing, representing the disappearing traditional life of Beijingers. At night, enjoy tasty Peking duck dinner.
 
Day 03 Beijing (B, L, D)

Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, a less touristy section, round-way cable car included. Then the program is followed by 1-hour relaxing Chinese foot massage. After dinner, go and watch Peking Opera, and you can see how the actor and actress put on their exquisite make-ups before the show.
 
Day 04 Beijing (B, L)
Morning visit to Temple of Heaven, where the ancient emperor worshipped the God for good harvests and stable reign, and now has become a perfect place for many local seniors to enjoy their lives after retirement. In the afternoon, enjoy the fun of shopping at Silk Market and Wangfujing Avenue--a shopper's paradise, filled with shops selling paintings and traditional Chinese arts and crafts, trendy boutiques and upscale chain stores as well as restaurants serving everything from traditional Chinese cuisines to international ones.  

Day 05 Beijing - Xian (B, D)
Transfer to the airport and fly to Xian. Transfer to the hotel. Visit Bell Tower, first built in 1384, it is the largest and best preserved of its kind. Go and learn to make Chinese dumplings at a local restaurant and enjoy dumpling meal. At night, a wonderful Tang Dynasty show is included.

Day 06 Xian (B, L)
In the morning, transfer to visit Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, one of the top attractions in China, because of its historical significance and uniqueness. Drive back to the city and visit Chinese herbal medicine market, then stroll at old Muslim quarters and visit Grand Mosque, one of the oldest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China.

Day 07 Xian - Lhasa (B, D)
Fly to Lhasa of Tibet, be met and transferred to the hotel. Rest for acclimatization.

Day 08 Lhasa (B, L)
Today, you will firstly visit Potala Palace -- the landmark of the city and this stone-and-wood-structured palace consists of the White Palace and Red Palace. Then go to Jokhang Temple, located at the center of the old Lhasa and it is the spiritual center of Tibet with a history over 1,300 years. Finally visit Barkhor Street-- a circular street at the center of Lhasa which is the oldest one in Tibet. Later, you can have a break at tea house of Ani Sangkhung Nunnery nearby.

Day 09 Lhasa (B, L)
Drive to Drepung Monastery, once was the largest temple of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. Then proceed to visit Sera Monastery, which is famous for monk debates. Pay a visit to a Tibetan family.

Day 10 Lhasa - Chengdu (B, L, D)
Transfer to fly to Chengdu. Be met and transferred to visit Leshan Giant Buddha by cruise, the largest stone-carved Buddha in the world. Then drive back to the hotel at Chengdu.

Day 11 Chengdu- Lijiang (B, L, D)
Transfer to Panda Breeding Center founded in 1987, it is a non-profit research and breeding facility for giant pandas and other rare animals.  Then pay a visit to Jinsha Cultural Relics Museum, which is home to the relatively isolated civilization of ancient Shu Kingdom from perhaps 3,000 years ago. Stroll at Jinli Old Street to enjoy leisure time. Take an evening flight to Lijiang.

Day 12 Lijiang (B, L)
Drive to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the soul of Lijiang and the holy mountain of local Naxi People. Then take chairlift up to Spruce Meadow, enjoy the stunning view of snow-capped mountains, then proceed to see White Water River. Transfer to visit Baisha Village, have lunch and explore the hundred-year-old mural.

Day 13 Lijiang (B, L)

Bike or drive to Shuhe Town for exploration, the original habitat of Naxi people. Go to Black Dragon Pool Park to enjoy stunning sightseeing there then proceed to visit Dongba Museum, which has more than 10000 Dongba cultural relics and various other historical relics and offers the "Dongba Culture Exhibition". Later, take a guided tour at downtown of Lijiang Old Town, originally called Dayan, it is a very well preserved old town built by Naxi people with unique cultural background. It was listed as the World Cultural Heritage Sites in 1997.

Day 14 Lijiang – Kunming – Guilin (B, D)
Transfer to the airport and fly to Kunming, then connect the flight to Guilin. Be met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 15 Guilin-Yangshuo (B, L)
In the morning, take a leisurely Li River cruise, you will see Bamboo groves, jagged, sharp-edged hills like broken teeth, a wide placid river and peaceful farm and village terrain along the river. Finally disembark at the beautiful small town Yangshuo, 65 kilometers to the southeast of Guilin. Afternoon is free for your shopping and wandering around West Street. Then stay at a hotel in the countryside to enjoy the fantastic view and peacefulness.

Day 16 Yangshuo--Guilin (B, L)
The day begins by Biking (or taking a golf-car-like vehicle) to the countryside to see the stunning scenery, rice paddies, water buffalo and local farmer’s life. Then an optional tour of 1-hour bamboo rafting down Yulong River. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Drive back to Guilin, and visit the outstanding Karst style Reed Flute Cave nearby the downtown: a fascinating gallery of natural sculpture. Later, wander around Central Lake.

Day 17 Guilin-Chongqing (B, L, D)
Transfer back to the airport and fly to Chongqing. Visit Three Gorges Museum, occupying the area of 30,000 square meters, it is a monographic museum to display the history and cultural heritage of Chongqing and the Three Gorges area. Then go to Ciqikou Ancient Town, and free shopping excursion at Jiefangbei area, after dinner, board the Yangtze cruise.

Day 18 Yangtze cruise (B, L, D)

On board, shore excursion to "the Ghost City" --Fengdu or Shibaozhai depending on the schedule of the cruise companies. Since 2010, some cruise companies offer optional shore excursions during your cruise, please kindly check with your travel consultant for more information.

Day 19 Yangtze Cruise (B, L, D)
Today you'll get a close look of the enchanting landscape as you board a small boat and cruise along a tributary to the Yangtze to explore the exceptionally beautiful Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream depending on the arrangement of the cruise company.

Day 20 Yichang - Shanghai (B, L, D)

Shore excursion to the amazing Three Gorge Dam: it is the world's largest power station in terms of installed capacity (22,500 MW). Later, disembark at Yichang. After lunch, transfer to the Three Gorges Airport for the flight to Shanghai. Optional acrobatic show at night.

Day 21 Shanghai (B, L)
In the morning, visit Yu Garden, an exquisite small garden nestled in the old quarters of Shanghai, then pay a visit to a local Shanghaiese family and see the local people's life. In the afternoon, a private history tour of the Bund to see old & new Shanghai along Huangpu River.

Day 22 Shanghai (B, L)
Visit the People's Square and the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall then onto the famous Shanghai History Museum to have a glimpse of the history of this metropolis. In the afternoon, go to Tianzifang and enjoy the fun of shopping at the small shops in the narrow lanes.

Day 23 Shanghai departure (B)
Transfer to the airport and fly to your next destination.
