Located south of Suzhou city enter in the midst of the river and canal network, the town has many canals, bridges, water gardens, every house is by the water so boats can go right up to them. The main scenic spots are the Retreat and Reflection Garden, the Gan Le Hall, the San Xie Hall, and the Jia Ying Hall. There is also a popular personal garden called the Quiet Thinking Garden that was built in 1993.
