What Our Customers Say?

Xian Tours FAQs
1. When is the Best Time to Visit Xi'an?
In general, Xi'an is suitable for visiting throughout the year. Xi'an is more enjoyable from March to June and from September to October due to the pleasant weather.
2. What are the Best Things to Do in Xi'an?
With a long history spanning over 3,000 years, Xi'an offers an overwhelming array of must-see attractions and activities. Here are some of the best things you can't miss:
3. How Many Days to Tour Xi'an?
Normally, you will need at least 2-3 days to visit the most popular tourist attractions in Xi'an, including the Terracotta Army, Old City Wall, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Shaanxi History Museum, Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Muslim Street, and Great Mosque. If you want to explore the city in depth, 2-3 more days are needed to visit historical sites like the Hanyangling Mausoleum and Famen Temple, or other attractions like Mount Huashan and Huaqing Hot Spring.
4. Where should I go if I want to visit other places near Xi'an?
Luoyang is a good idea. It's only 1.5 hours away from Xi'an by high-speed train. Take a bullet train to Luoyang in the morning, and you can visit the Longmen Grottoes, which house some of the finest collections of Chinese Buddhist art.
5. As a first-timer, should I choose a private tour, a group tour, or a self-guided tour in Xian?
For first-time visitors to Xi'an, especially senior travelers and families with children, we recommend booking a Xian private tour. At Easy Tour China, we can customize a Xi'an tour for you, no matter how many days you want, and wherever you want to go. We don't recommend a self-guided tour because you must listen to the local professional tour guide for explanations to understand the historical background. Otherwise, for example, at the Terracotta Army, you can only see a bunch of pottery figures.
6. Is the Shaanxi History Museum worth visiting?
Yes, because it is one of the top three museums in China, condensing the essence of Chinese civilization. Don't miss the Shang and Zhou bronze wares, Han and Tang terracotta figures, Tang Dynasty walls, etc, in Shaanxi History Museum. Remember, it is closed on Mondays.
7. Apart from the iconic and famous attractions like the Terracotta Army, what other less-known but worthwhile attractions are there in Xi'an?
The Xi'an Stele Forest Museum houses the steles of famous calligraphers such as Yan Zhenqing and Liu Gongquan, making it a paradise for Chinese calligraphy enthusiasts. The Qinling Wildlife Park allows you to see giant pandas in Xian. Daxing Shan Temple was a royal temple during the Sui and Tang dynasties, with fewer visitors and a more serene atmosphere compared to Daxing En Temple.
