I want to say thank you so so much for all your excellent help in booking my tours of China this year. Both the Zhangjiajie tour with my mum and the Beijing-Xi'an tour with Dan were truly wonderful experiences for us all. We had some of the best times of our lives. I would like you and your boss to know that your prompt email responses, planning, organisation and excellent communication skills really helped make us feel comfortable and confident in booking these tours with you.
I would also like to make special mention of two tour guides in Beijing and Xi'an that Dan and I found to be absolutely excellent. Firstly, Lilly in Beijing was fabulous - her English communication and knowledge of Chinese history was excellent and she made sure to gather the group and carefully provide all the information she had at each place we visited. So we felt we learnt much about Chinese history and even daily life today, from her. She was also incredibly organised and very personable and shared some of her own experiences in China and her background as a medicinal nurse with us, which was quite interesting.
Secondly we absolutely loved the private tour with Iris in Xi'an. She was so fun, personable, friendly and incredible knowledgeable and intelligent. We felt as though we were touring Xi'an with an old friend, and not just a tour guide, and we got a real taste of Chinese life from her. At the same time we probably learnt more about Chinese history from Iris than anyone else on our tours. She made the information very interesting and easy to understand, and was always happy to discuss and answer all our questions on any topic. She was also very proactive and suggested and booked some extra activities for us in Xi'an that we had not considered, which made our experience even better. We can't recommend her highly enough, she was truly excellent.
