Everything went very well, indeed!
We felt well taken care of from beginning to end. We appreciated both the big cities of Beijing and Shanghai--and even more--the more remote areas like Tai'an, Qingdao, and particularly Wudangshan! It seemed like each day we had a "once in a lifetime experience" which is pretty amazing to recall and reflect upon. We fell in love with the people. landscape and culture of China.
While there is no significant complaint, it might be useful to you and your company to know that in Shanghai our tour guide had a different itinerary than the one we had received. Although she was probably the least informative of the eight guides we had (the others were quite wonderful), we were able to work out an enjoyable series of events.
We would like to give huge credit to Peicy who helped organize our trip via email from the first inquiry last year. Even though she was on maternity leave--she always answered our questions in a timely and helpful way. We are considering a return trip to China via ETC in the future--and would enjoy working with her again should that come to be.
Overall it was a fantastic experience and we have already suggested to several friends and colleagues that they should look into ETC! WE LOVED OUR TRIP!
