Arrival in Beijing. Pick up by our guide and transfer to hotel.

Climbing the Great Wall is a must during your Beijing tour as we plan a private escorted tour to Mutianyu Great Wall (round-way cable car) for you today. The grand Great Wall is really amazing and good place to challenge. In the old days, Beijing City is like a boxy bean curd or a chess board with each Hutong lying due north to due south or due east to due west. This square layout not only influences Beijinger's way of living, but also affects their thoughts and actions. A pedicab Hutong tour is prepared for you to have a closer experience.

Mutianyu Great Wall

Private escorted tour to Temple of Heaven where you can pray in faith as it worked as sacrificial compound building for the Ming and Qing emperors and it boasts of the largest sacrificial place in Beijing among a few imperial altars to Heaven, Earth, the Sun, the Moon super natures. Tiananmen Square is arguably claimed as the largest public square in the world. Then we go to the Forbidden City--with over 9,000 rooms and over 250 acres. This large palace building was built between 1406 and 1420, and it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. Transfer to take an overnight train to Xian.

Temple of Heaven

Be met by our guide at the train station and transferred to hotel. Visit Ancient City Wall, the most intact ancient Chinese wall in existence. It encircles and protects the ancient part of Xian City. Then head for the Traditional China Herbal Market to know about Chinese medicine. Later, transfer to visit the famous Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which is one of the highlight attractions in China. It is significant because the hundreds of detailed life-size models.

In the morning, visit Shaanxi History Museum, one impressive museum housing more than 370,000 pieces of historical relics. Lesser Wild Goose Pagoda is the second spot-- it was built in the year 707 A.D during the Tang Dynasty (618-907). As it is newer and smaller than the Big Wild Goose Pagoda the name was given to distinguish the two. Then go to the Grand Mosque, built in a Chinese architectural style and most of the grounds are taken up with gardens, the mosque has neither domes nor traditional-style minarets. Take an express train to Luoyang.

Visit Longmen Grottoes, and old city quarters, then proceed to take an express train to Zhengzhou.

Longmen Grottoes

After breakfast, drive to visit Shaolin Temple in Dengfeng County. It is known in and outside of China for Shaolin martial arts. The temple was built in 495, the 19th year of the reign of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty. Dagoba Forest and Chinese Kung Fu performances are also included in the following plan.

After breakfast, transfer to the train station to head for Guilin by speed train (7.5 hours).

After breakfast, transfer to Daxu old town, walk on the aged pebble-stone street. And take a local ferry to Maozhou Island along Li River to explore the countryside of South China. In the afternoon, go to visit the outstanding Karst style Reed Flute Cave near the downtown: a fascinating gallery of natural sculpture, now enhanced by multicolored lighting, which has been one of Guilin's most interesting attractions for over 1200 years. Then have a walk around the Central Lake Park.

Transfer to Longji, explore the old Zhuang Village where you can get close to Zhuang people's life of their culture and customs. Go to its highlight Longji Rice Terraces--it is built into the hillsides. The terraces look like great chains or ribbons as they wind from the foot to the top of the hill. This ingenious construction makes best use of the scarce arable land and water resources in the mountainous area. Then proceed to Yangshuo, an idyllic small town set amongst some of the world's most beautiful landscape.

Bamboo rafting on Li River. Biking or driving to see the countryside to see the stunning landscape and local farmer's life. Transfer back to Guilin for an overnight train ride to Shenzhen.
