Meal: No meal (we can arrange upon request)
After breakfast at hotel, your guide will meet your family at the hotel hall, and you will reach the Victoria Peak first. The Peak is the highest point on Hong Kong Island, and this has been the city’s most exclusive neighborhood since colonial times. Riding the Peak Tram up to the peak is a visual experience, you can see the Hong Kong Island’s skyscrapers slide past your window. Later go ahead to experience the longest outdoor covered escalator in the world – the Central-Mid-Levels Escalator. Later our local guide will take you to the oldest Mosque in Hong Kong that is normally not open to tourists. Have Dim Sum lunch at Islamic Centre Canteen if Muslim travelers.
Transfer to the pier and board the Star Ferry. The charming Star Ferry boats have been faithfully carrying passengers from Hong Kong Island to Kowloon and back since 1888. Many visitors take the ride for an up-close look at one of the world’s most photographed harbors. National Geographic rates the Star Ferry crossing as one of 50 ‘places of a lifetime’. Disembark at the Tsim Sha Tsui, you will have some free time in this one-stop shoppers’ paradise brimming.
And then we will go to the Victoria Harbor. Victoria Harbor is Hong Kong’s raison d’être. The deep waters between Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula are why a collection of fishing villages grew to become an international center of trade. Today, the harbor is still the city’s throbbing heart and one of the world’s most awesome urban landscapes. Walk through the Avenue of Stars, you will not just enjoy the spectacular harbor views, but can also find out all you need to know about the 100-year development of the Hong Kong film industry.
