Day

After arrival in Beijing, be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure after the flight. Then have dinner at local vegetarian restaurant.

Today, we will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the Forbidden City, which is officially known as the Imperial Palace Museum and has a long history over 500 years. Then go to Jingshan Park, covers an area of more than 230,000 m², Jingshan is immediately north of the Forbidden City on the central axis of Beijing. Later, explore the old Beijing quarters on foot, walking through the city's traditional narrow alleyways called "Hutong", relax at Hou Hai Park. Have lunch and dinner at local vegetarian restaurant.

Forbidden City

Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall-- the largest construction scale and best quality among all sections of Great Wall that connects with Jiankou in the west and Lianhuachi and Jinshanling in the east (round-way cable car included). Then proceed to visit Yonghe Lamasery, an important Tibetan Buddhist temple in China. Enjoy vegetarian food at local restaurant.

Family tour to Mutianyu Great Wall

In the morning, go to the Temple of Heaven, which is one of Beijing's most impressive sites in terms of architecture, color and significance and was used by Emperor to communicate directly with Heaven. Later, transfer and fly to Xi'an. Be met and checked in the hotel. Have Lunch and dinner at local vegetarian restaurant.

In the morning, transfer to visit Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It's often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world, which is an enormous collection of vivid Chinese warriors made out of hardened clay. Drive back to the city and visit Chinese herbal medicine market, and stroll at old Muslim quarters. Enjoy lunch and dinner at local vegetarian restaurant.

Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum

Visit the 1000-year-old Wild Goose Pagoda--the city emblem, which was first built in Tang Dynasty for the storage of Buddhist scriptures taken from India by Monk Xuanzang. Then transfer to take a flight to Guilin. Have lunch and dinner at local vegetarian restaurant.

Take a leisurely Li River cruise, disembark at the beautiful small town famous for its Karst landscape--Yangshuo. Afternoon time is free for your own exploration. Enjoy dinner at local vegetarian restaurant. Optional "Impression Sanjie Liu" Light Show is available at night. Overnight at Yangshou.

Li River cruise

In the morning, the day begins by biking (or taking a golf-car-like vehicle) to the countryside to see the stunning scenery, rice paddies, water buffalo and local farmer's life. And then your option to take a 1-hour bamboo rafting down Yulong River. Have lunch at a local restaurant to taste local cuisine. Afternoon is free for your own exploration.

Cycling in the countryside of Yangshuo

Transfer to Guilin and visit Reed Flute Cave nearby the downtown: a fascinating gallery of natural sculpture, now enhanced by multicolored lighting, which has been one of Guilin's most interesting attractions for over 1200 years. After lunch, fly to Hangzhou. Have dinner at local vegetarian restaurant.

Visit the famous West Lake by boat, and see the fantastic sceneries by the lake. Pay a visit to Six Harmony Pagoda, which stands majestically on the Yuelun Mountain overlooking the Qiantang River. In the afternoon, take an express train to Shanghai. Be met and transferred to the hotel. Enjoy Lunch and dinner at local vegetarian restaurant.

West Lake

Visit The People's Square and the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall then onto the famous Shanghai Museum, one of the best in China. In the afternoon, visit Yu Garden, an exquisite small garden nestled in the old quarters of Shanghai. Then stroll at the Bund to see the new and old Shanghai. Have vegetarian food for lunch and dinner at local restaurant.

Drive to Suzhou for a full day tour, which is famous for gardens, silk and pretty ladies in China. Our first stop will be the Garden of Net Master--the smallest among the four most famous classic gardens in Suzhou, yet it is the most impressive. Then pay a visit to No.1 Silk Factory, with a history of more than 80 years, it enjoys a good reputation in the silk industry. Later, proceed to Tongli to have a boat ride at the local canal and wander around ancient little town. Transfer back to Shanghai. Have lunch at the local vegetarian restaurant.
