This tour package covers the most renowned destinations in eastern China, from the bustling Hong Kong, to seaside city Xiamen, viewing the grand earth towers in Fujian villages, head to Hangzhou and Suzhou for tranquil water towns and classic gardens, famed silk factory as well as dragon well tea plantations. The last stop is Shanghai – modern metropolis.

Day
Arrival in Hong Kong, you will be met at the airport and transferred to the hotel.

A full day tour: after a visit to the Wong Tai Sin Temple, wander in Bird Market to have fun there. Then go to the Victoria Peak, which combines shopping, restaurants, and entertainment and features the oldest mode transport, the 112-year old Peak Tram and Hong Kong 's most unusual building and icon, The Peak Tower. Aberdeen Fishing Village comes the next spot. It is where people can have a glimpse of boat-dwellers at Aberdeen Bay. Later, enjoy time at the Repulse Bay, a relaxing sandy beach with a strong characteristic of local culture. At last, shopping at Stanley Market.

Victoria Peak

Travel by ferry from Hong Kong to Lantau Island. See the world's largest seated outdoor bronze statue, Tian Tan Buddha. Then walk through the village full of cultural integrity. Explore the grand Po Lin Monastery and the Ngong Ping Village.

Free morning at leisure. Transfer to the airport and fly to Xiamen by an afternoon flight. Check into your hotel.

After breakfast, drive 3 hours to Nanjing County to visit Tianluokeng Earth Towers (Tulou), a traditional communal residence of Hakka people in Fujian and usually of a circular configuration surrounding a central shrine. Then pay a visit to Yuchang Earth Tower to appreciate its special structure. Later, visit Taxia Village to experience people's life and customs there. Drive back to Xiamen.

Tianluokeng Earth Towers (Tulou)

Visit Gulangyu Island including Shuzhuang Garden and Crag of Sunlight. It is renowned for its beaches, winding lanes and its colonial architectures. The island is on China's list of National Scenic Spots and also ranks at the top of the list of the ten most-scenic areas in the province. Then transfer to airport and fly to Hangzhou. Transfer to Wuzhen, one of the most famous historical water towns in China. Check into the local character hotel.

After breakfast, start the wonderful tour in Wuzhen: a visit to Jiangnan Hundred Beds Showroom, Indigo-Blue Printed Calico Workshop, Mr.Yu Liuliang's Coin Display Room, Shadow-puppet Theater, Ancient Stage, Pawn Museum, Lu Pavilion, etc. Drive back to Hangzhou after the visit.

Boating at West Lake --it is located in the south-west of Hangzhou. With its beautiful lakes, mountains and many attractions, it has become the world-famous tourist destination and is known as the "paradise on earth". Then visit Lingyin Temple-- one of the ten most famous ancient Buddhist monasteries in China. Next to the temple, go to the Feilai Peak, 209 meters (about 700 feet) tall, is a pure limestone mountain that is very distinctive from the sandstone mountain around it. After a visit to the Six Harmony Pagoda, take an express train to Suzhou in the late afternoon.

West Lake

In the morning, visit Humble Administrator's Garden. Covering about 12.58 acres, it is the largest and most renowned garden. Then proceed to visit the No.1 Silk Factory. With a history of more than 80 years, it enjoys a good reputation in the silk industry. Later, visit Tiger Hill, The hill is so named because it is said to look like a crouching tiger, which is known for its natural beauty as well as historical sites. Enjoy a boat trip on the Grand Canal. Also known as the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, it is the earliest and the longest artificial river in the world that is ten times of the Suez Canal and 22 times of the Panama Canal. It originates from Beijing in the north and ends in Hangzhou, Zhejiang in the south.

Visit Forest of Lions Garden and have a leisure time there. After the visit, enjoy 1.5-hour rickshaw ride to old districts of Suzhou. Transfer to take an express train to Shanghai. Check into your hotel.

After a visit to the People's Square, go to Shanghai Urban Planing Exhibition to appreciate the modern designs. Then go to the City God Temple, a busy market today, specializing in traditional arts and crafts. Later, wander around the area of the Bund, the waterfront to see new-erect modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period. At last, enjoy your time at Xintiandi, a car-free shopping, eating and entertainment area composed of restored traditional shikumen (stone gate) houses on narrow alleys.
