Tibet And Nepal. This is one of the world's most spectacular road journeys, from the icon of Lhasa –Potala Palace through the Himalaya to Kathmandu!

1  Lhasa Arrival in Lhasa. Be picked up to hotel
2  Lhasa Visit Potala Palace and Sera Monastery
3  Lhasa Full-day tour of Drak Yerpa, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street
4 Lhasa/Shigatse Drive to Shigatse. En route, visit Yamdrok Lake and Palkor Monastery
5 Shigatse/Rongbuk Monastery Drive to Rongbuk Monastery and have a dramatic view of Mount Everest
6 Rongbuk Monastery/Zhangmu Morning enjoy the brilliant sunrise over Mt. Everest. Then head for the Mt. Everest Base Camp. Drive to Zhangmu
7 Zhangmu Cross the border to the Nepal side

Day 01 Arrival in Lhasa (no meal)
Upon arrival, our guide will meet your at the airport/train station. Transfer to the hotel, the rest time free for acclimatization.
Day 02 Lhasa (B, L)
Excursion to the Potala Palace in the morning, after lunch, go to the Sera Monastery to see the Monk debating.

Day 03 Lhasa (B, L)
Drive to visit Drak Yerpa, a monastery together with a number of ancient meditation caves that used to house about 300 monks. In the afternoon, visit Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street.

Day 04 Lhasa – Shigatse (B, L)
Drive to Shigatse. En route, visit Yamdrok Lake, a beautiful highland lake. Then proceed to Gyantse town and visit Palkor Monastery. Later in the afternoon, arrive in Shigatse.

Day 05 Shigatse – Rongbuk Monastery (B, L, D)
Drive 3 hours over the bumpy road to Rongbuk Monastery with dramatic views on the north face of Mount Everest. Overnight at local basic guesthouse of Rongbuk Monatery.

Day 06 Rongbuk Monastery – Zhangmu (B, L)
If getting up early, you can possibly enjoy the brilliant sunrise over the highest peak in the world. Then head for the Mt. Everest Base Camp. About 1-2 hours later, go down and drive to Zhangmu of Nyalam County, a small town on the Sino-Nepal border.

Day 07 Zhangmu departure (B)
After breakfast, cross the border to the Nepal side.
