This 7-day overland tour from Tibet to Nepal doesn't include activities in Nepal. But you will visit many famous scenic spots along your trip, such as Potala Palace, Sera Monastery, Drak Yerpa, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, Yamdrok Lake, Palkor Monastery, Rongbuk Monastery.

Upon arrival, our guide will meet your at the airport/train station. Transfer to the hotel, the rest time free for acclimatization.

Excursion to the Potala Palace in the morning, after lunch, go to the Sera Monastery to see the Monk debating.

Drive to visit Drak Yerpa, a monastery together with a number of ancient meditation caves that used to house about 300 monks. In the afternoon, visit Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street.

Drive to Shigatse. En route, visit Yamdrok Lake, a beautiful highland lake. Then proceed to Gyantse town and visit Palkor Monastery. Later in the afternoon, arrive in Shigatse.

Drive about 6 hours over the bumpy road to Rongbuk Monastery with dramatic views on the north face of Mount Everest. Overnight at local basic guesthouse of Rongbuk Monatery.

Free day in Rongbuk Monastery. If getting up early, you can possibly enjoy the brilliant sunrise over the highest peak in the world, and then go down and drive to Zhangmu of Nyalam County, a small town on the Sino-Nepal border.
