China’s landscapes are vast, varied and spectacular with grasslands, mountains, rivers, valleys, deserts. On this 6-day tour package of Inner Mongolia, you will travel to vast grassland in Hohhot to see sheep or cows grazing, pay a home visit to local Mongolian’s tent and stay overnight in a tradtional yurt; enjoy the fun activities such as camel riding, surfing car and sand skiing in Gebi desert… Discover yourself theTomb of Genghis Khan and make the most out of every moment in Huitengxile Grassland, Dazhao Temple, Xiangshawan Desert.

After breakfast, transfer to visit the Huitengxile Grassland, which also called flowerland, is the one of 4 alpine meadow grasslands in the world. Every year from May to September, the whole grassland is like a beautiful painting - flowers blossom everywhere, breeze blowing, cattle and sheep grazing freely, herdsmen singing merrily…There will be a small welcome ceremony when you arrive - drinking ceremony. The hospitable Mongolians who are colorfully dressed would wait for you at the entrance gate by presenting you Haha and a silver cup of wine. Local lunch will be arranged after that, and then you can check in your Yurt. For the rest of time, enjoy on your own on the grassland. You can ride horse (optional), watch Mongolian horse racing and wrestling performance etc… After dinner, join the bonfire party!

You can enjoy the difference sunrise on the grassland in the early morning, after breakfast, you will be transferred back to Hohhot. Visit Inner Mongolian Museum first, Covering an area of 3,500 square meters, Inner Mongolia Museum is the largest and best comprehensive museum in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. This museum is a window to know Inner Mongolia deeply.
After lunch, visit the General’s Government Office. Located in the middle of downtown, west of Drum Tower, the General’s Government Office is the only preserved historical building of cultural relics in Mongolian area of China. It enjoys a higher station in the national historic site of cultural relic.
Later, transfer to visit the Dazhao Temple, which is the oldest building and the largest temple in Hohhot. Splendid statues, delicate frescos, and great collection of Buddhist scriptures, these are the major features of the temple. The central part of the temple is Fo Tang (the hall for worshiping Buddha), where the Silver Buddha lies and it has been already four hundred years. Overnight in Hohhot.

After breakfast, we will drive around 3 hours to the Xiangshawan (Singing Sand Ravine) Desert Resort, you can see the Yellow River Bridge is on our way. Upon arrival, you will take a cable car to the Xiansha Island and experience some exciting sand activities here. You may choose the following self-paid activities like: camel riding, sand skiing, beach motorcycle, sand surfing car、zip line etc… Later, we will proceed to our next destination- Erdos city. We will arrive in around 1 hour and then check into a local hotel after dinner.

Continue our tour to the Mausoleum of Genghis Khan. Genghis Khan is a Mongolian hero who reunified the chaotic Inner-Mongolia prairie, made great contribution to the founding of the powerful Mongolia Empire and enhanced greatly the interaction of the people of China. The Genghis Khan’s Mausoleum was completed in 1954, but destroyed by Red Guards in the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976) and after many years’ restoration, the site takes on the present appearance. Exiting the mausoleum, we will drive back to the Erdos and visit the Kangbashi tourism area. Here you can see Erdos Mongolian Wedding Park, City Square and many Mongolian style buildings. Enjoy your dinner here and then you will be transferred back to your hotel by the end of the day.

Free time in the morning, you can explore the city by yourself. Pick up from hotel at the appropriated time and transfer to airport for the flight to your next destination
