Day
Welcome to Phnom Penh! Our guide and driver have been waiting for you at the airport with your name sign. After meeting, transfer to your hotel to check in. Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.

This morning visit Royal Palace, a royal residence where His Majesty live, and the National Museum, also named Musee des Beaux-Arts, in Khmer style, which was designed by Georges Groslier, a French archaeologist and painter, in 1917. The museum houses a great collection of Khmer art - notably sculptures - throughout the ages. Then visit the Toul Sleng Prison Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek-both grim reminders of Cambodia's bloody past under Pol Pot. It is almost unimaginable to confront the nature of true evil here in this tender loving land, but the Buddhist memorial at Choeung Ek, commemorates the 1.7 million victims of the 1975-79 Pol Pot regime. This excursion may cause discomfort and sorrow for some visitors. It is, however, an important part of Cambodia’s historical and cultural puzzle. Visit Russian Market (Toul Tumpong Market), popular among the locals for cheap clothing, a large selection of Buddha images and wood carvings, betel-nut boxes, silk, silver jewelry, classic music instrument and other local specialties. Overnight in Phnom Penh.

Go through the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is known for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple in the center of the city, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the famous Elephant Terrace, which was the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest and also the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We walk through this epic edifice, admiring the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds filled with water reflecting the soaring temple and the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm.
