Today we are going to visit Daxu Ancient Town. First built in 200AD, Daxu remained a prosperous trading center for more than 900 years until the 20th century. Located on the Li River, it was crisscrossed with many Salt Trade Routes going from the sea to the hinterland. The well kept stone slab street is lined up with old wood & brick houses. Bamboo products workshop, herbal doctors’ clinic, barber shops all reminds people of the good old times of prosperity. Do a homevisit to a local family to see what kind of life they are living there.

At an appropriate time, transfer to airport or rail station for a flight or train back to your next destination.
