Furthermore, you will enjoy a relaxing stay at Zhenyuan Old Town, discovering the old dwellings, alleyways, bridges, temples, and sit on a boat cruising picturesque Wuyang River.

Day
Take bullet train to Kaili, be greeted by your private tour guide and transfer to visit Kaili Nationality Museum which has been classified as one of the “100 most distinctive museums of China”. Visitors can get a glimpse into the culture and history of the Miao people with displays on bronze drum dances, Fengyu Bridge, Baoye Bridge, beauty cushions, wine songs and local festivals. After that, you will transfer to Zhenyuan old town and check in your hotel.

Zhenyuan old town is known as one of the top ten ancient towns in China endowed with both cultural relics and natural landscape. The whole old town is surrounded by mountains and river, beautiful natural scenery and antique buildings. Have a leisurely stroll at the old town in the morning and visit Qinglong Cave. The area of Qinglong Cave is the center of multi-culture, including Taoism, Buddhism and Confucianism. After that, drive half an hour to Wuyang River. Enjoying 2 hours cruise tour on Wuyang River, you will see stunning natural view and unique minority buildings along the river side. Stay overnight at Zhenyuan Old Town.

After enjoying a nice breakfast, you will start today’s trip by visiting Shidong Miao Village, which is famous for making silver ornaments. If you come at right time, you will have a chance to join their grand ethnic festivals and activities. Afterwards, transfer to Matang Gejia Village which is located on the bank of Chong’an River. Their garments, traditional handicrafts, ethnic activities are the distinctive features of Gejia People. Such as batik, stitch work, dancing with Reed-pipe instrument, etc. Walk along Chong’an River and step into their dwellings to see the particular architecture. Drive to Kaili rail station for your departure.
