The grand Great Wall is really amazing and good place to challenge. Take a morning train to Taiyuan (4 hours), be met at the train station and transferred to have lunch. Then proceed to visit Jinci Temple, it was founded about 1,400 years ago and expanded during the following centuries, resulting in a diverse collection of more than 100 sculptures, buildings, terraces, and bridges. after that, drive to stay at Pingyao.

3 highlights today: first, pay a visit to Pingyao Old Town, where ancient Chinese banks were first born. The city has maintained all its features and showing an unusual complete picture for changes and developments of society, culture, economy and religion. Secondly, go to the Qiao Family Compound, a masterpiece of traditional civil architecture in North China. It encompasses 8,724.8 square meters of land, consisting of 6 large yards and 20 small yards with 313 houses in total. At last, visit Double Forest Temple for worship and sightseeing. Later, take the train to Xian (about 3 hours). Arrive at Xian. Be met & transferred to your hotel.

Visit Ancient City Wall, the most intact ancient Chinese wall in existence. It encircles and protects the ancient part of Xian City. Later, transfer to visit the famous Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which is one of the highlight attractions in China. It is significant because the hundreds of detailed life-size models.

In the morning, visit Shaanxi History Museum, one impressive museum housing more than 370,000 pieces of historical relics. Lesser Wild Goose Pagoda is the second spot-- it was built in the year 707 A.D during the Tang Dynasty (618-907). As it is newer and smaller than the Big Wild Goose Pagoda the name was given to distinguish the two. Then go to the Grand Mosque, built in a Chinese architectural style and most of the grounds are taken up with gardens, the mosque has neither domes nor traditional-style minarets. Transfer to take an overnight train to Beijing.
