Arrive in Chengdu, be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel.

Drive to visit Leshan Giant Buddha, the largest stone-caved Buddha in the world. The Giant Buddha is about 71 meters high and 24 meters wide. Then pay a visit to Jinsha Site Museum, which was regarded as the most significant archaeological discovery in the 21st century in China. Later, enjoy leisure time on Jinli Old Street

Leshan Giant Buddha

Pay a visit to the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base. Situated on the Axe Hill 10 kilometers north of Chengdu, 40 plus pandas as well as other endangered species like lesser pandas and black-necked crane currently reside at the base in quarters. It was awarded "Global 500" twice by the UN in the year of 1989 and 1994. Then transfer to the airport and fly to Xian.

The famous Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum is the tour highlight today. It's often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world, which is an enormous collection of vivid Chinese warriors made out of hardened clay. After a visit to the Muslim quarters and get close to Muslim people and their life, go to the Grand Mosque. Built in a Chinese architectural style and most of the grounds are taken up with gardens, the mosque has neither domes nor traditional-style minarets.

Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum

2 highlights of today: first, visit the Shaanxi History Museum, one of the main museums in China which holds numerous unearthed cultural relics of China. Then pay a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda-- the city emblem, which was first built in Tang Dynasty for the storage of Buddhist scriptures taken from India by Monk Xuanzang. Later, take a late afternoon flight to Beijing. Be met and transferred to hotel.

Today we start with the exploration of Temple of Heaven, a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation. Then visit the Tian’anmen Sqare, located at the heart of Beijing, it is the world's largest city center square. Walk through the Gate of Heavenly Peace to enter the Forbidden City to unveil the mystery of Chinese Imperial Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty.

Temple of Heaven

Private escorted tour to the Great Wall, a series of stone and earthen fortifications in China which is a symbol of China's history and heritage. Then go to Ming Tomb, located at Chan Ping County, 50 km (31 miles) northwest of Beijing, it reflects a similar conception of Imperial architecture. Sacred road is the next stop, which used to be regarded as "the way leading to Heaven". At night, enjoy a famous Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.

Transfer to airport for your flight to Shanghai. Be met and transferred to your hotel. Then visit the Jade Buddha Temple, the most popular Buddhist temple in Shanghai boasting 2 precious jade Buddha sculptures from Burma. Later, wander in the area of the Bund and Nanjing Road. As it is known to all, the Bund is the famous waterfront to see new-erect modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period while Nanjing Road is the busiest shopping street in Shanghai.

3 highlights today: first, visit Shanghai Museum, a large museum of ancient Chinese art which is divided into eleven galleries and three exhibition halls. Secondly, pay a visit to Yu Garden to appreciate its brilliant historical garden art and have leisure stroll in it. Later, go to the Oriental Pearl Tower, which is the best viewing spot of Shanghai located by the Huangpu River with 468 meters high. At last, wander in Xintiandi District to experience the prosperous of Shanghai.
