Day 1 Arrival in Beijing

Upon your arrival in Beijing, your tour guide will greet you at the airport and then transfer to your hotel at downtown Beijing. The rest of the day is for your acclimation. Enjoy yourself in Beijing in your preferred pace.

Day 2 Beijing (B, L)

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your guide and driver at the hotel lobby, and drive to the most famous and representative square-Tiananmen Square, that is the heart of Beijing and the world's largest city center square. And then go to the Forbidden City, which is officially known as the Imperial Palace Museum and has a long history over 500 years. Your guide will show you the classic but shorter route, without much walking. In the afternoon, prepare for a relaxing Hutong tour on a pedicab (around 30 minutes ride). You will have a chance to know the daily life of the local people and traditional folk culture and Beijing. The hutongs are unique street design in Beijing - some crisscrossing old narrow paths with courtyard houses built on each side.

At night, a delicious and special Peking duck dinner is well-prepared. Have a good rest tonight.

Day 3 Beijing (B, L)

Private escorted tour to Mutianyu Great Wall. We arrange you round-way cable car, thus you don’t need to climb up and down and save more energy for enjoying the good view on the wall. This less-crowded section of the Great Wall is about 2.5 hours' drive from downtown Beijing. Besides, it is the longest fully-restored Great Wall section open to tourists. Have a leisure walk on the Great Wall, go through the old beacon towers to find more history and atmosphere if you like.

Day 4 Beijing-Xi’an (B, L)

in the morning, your guide will escort you to visit Temple of Heaven, which is one of Beijing's most impressive sites in terms of architecture, color and significance. Take your time to walk from one building to another, and see local people enjoying plying chess, practicing tai chi, singing and dancing in the park.

In the afternoon, take high speed train to Xian. We arrange you the first-class seat, which offers unique and comfortable experience. Don’t worry about the heavy luggage, your guide will help to arrange and make everything smooth and perfect.
Your Xian tour guide and driver will meet your at the train station and transfer to hotel at downtown.

Day 5 Xian (B, L)

In the morning, visit one of the top attractions in China--Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It is significant because the hundreds of detailed life-size models represent the army that triumphed over all other Chinese armies. After back to downtown Xian, visit Grand Mosque, located at the heart of ancient city of Xian and next to the Drum Tower. It is the hub of the Moslem community in Xian City, and offers a variety of local flavor snacks. Take a leisure walk at Old Quarters before transferring back to hotel.

Day 6 Xian-Shanghai (B)

Check out after breakfast and go to Small Wild Goose Pagoda – an elegant park and a perfect mix of history, Buddhism and peace. Right close to Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the Jianfu Temple is the Xian Museum, showcasing the precious relics of ancient Xian, Buddhist statue arts, Chinese calligraphy, paintings and jade articles.

Take an afternoon flight to Shanghai, meet your tour guide and driver at the airport and transfer to your hotel in downtown Shanghai.
At night, Shanghai offers spectacular acrobatic shows (optional) for those looking for eye-popping fun.

Day 7 Shanghai (B, L)

Today begins with the visit to Yu Garden, the only fully restored classical Chinese garden in Shanghai. Numerous rock and tree garden areas, ponds, walls and bridges separating various garden areas and pavilions are its features. Then go visit the Bund and Nanjing Road. The Bund is the famous waterfront to see aged buildings of the colonial period and new-erect modern skyscrapers like Shanghai Tower, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, which are also landmarks of prosperous Shanghai. Nanjing Road, 5.5 km in full length, enjoys the reputation as China No. 1 commercial center. It was the earliest commercial street along the Bund in Shanghai since the city opened to the outside world. At last, visit to the Jade Buddha Temple - Shanghai's most popular temple with visitors.

Day 8 Shanghai departure (B)

Your guide and driver will escort you to the airport and help you to check in. Fly home.
