Go to Temple of Heaven, a complex of religious buildings, which was the site of the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest, now you can see the local Beijingers to do morning exercises here. Go to the Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest city center square. Then go to the Forbidden City, located in the center of Beijing Municipality, was once the home of the 24 emperors and their households of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and the ritual and political center of the Chinese government.

Private escorted tour to the Great Wall, a series of stone and earthen fortifications in China which is a symbol of China's history and heritage. Drive back to Beijing and have a photo stop at the main venues of Beijing Olympic Games and appreciate their amazing architecture styles. Later, head for Yonghe Lamasery, originally a prince mansion of Qing Dynasty, it was changed to the head office of Lama Administration.

The Summer Palace comes first, built by Empress Dowager Cixi in Qing Dynasty, and is a masterpiece of Chinese garden architecture. Then transfer back to take a pedicab tour to Hutong (Beijing’s traditional alleyways) to see the local people’s life and this tour will actually show old Beijing’s timeless best to you. Then transfer to take an afternoon train to Datong (6 hours). Arrival in Datong around 21:45, be met and transfer to hotel.

Visit the famous Yungang Grottoes, which are ancient Chinese Buddhist temple grottoes near Datong in the province of Shanxi. They are excellent examples of rock-cut architecture and one of the three most famous ancient Buddhist sculptural sites of China. Huayan Temple is the second destination on your tour plan. It is one of the biggest temples in China built in Liao Dynasty. Later, pay a visit to Nine Dragon Screen, the only screen having nine huge dragons on both sides and composed of 424 seven-color glazed tiles, that embosses the screen.

Drive to visit Hanging Temple at Heng Mountain. It is one of the main tourist attractions and historical sites in the Datong area. Built more than 1,500 years ago, this temple is notable not only for its location on a sheer precipice but also because it includes Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucian elements under the same roof. Then proceed to Wutai Mountain. Check in hotel.

Tour at Wutai Mountain to see the Buddhist temples there, it is one of the four famous Holy Mountains for Chinese Buddhists. Wutai Mountain is home to 53 sacred monasteries, and they were inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009. Then transfer to Taiyuan.

Drive to Pingyao Ancient Town. It is one of the best preserved ancient towns in China listed as Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. After wandering the town, lead to visit Qiao Family Courtyard House--a masterpiece of folk architecture in North China. Later, go to the Double Forest Temple, with 1500 year history, it is famous for more than 2000 painted Buddhist sculptures, regarded as "the treasure of Oriental painted sculptures". Transfer to board the train to Xian.

Arrival in Xian--be met and transferred to hotel for breakfast and check-in in the morning. The travel starts and visits the Shaanxi History Museum, which boasts a large collection of unearthed cultural relics of China. Proceed to visit Wild Goose Pagoda-- situates inside Ci'en Temple (4 kilometers south of Xi'an City), it is one of the famous Buddhist pagodas in China. Later, pay a visit to Bell Tower, first built in 1384, it is the largest and best preserved of its kind.

Transfer to visit the famous Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which is one of the highlight attractions in China. The Terracotta army is a form of funerary art buried with the China’s first emperor in 210–209 BC and whose purpose was to protect him in his afterlife. Later, take an afternoon flight to Chengdu. Be met and transferred to hotel.

Transfer to visit the 71-meter-high Leshan Stone-carved Buddha with a history of 1200 years. The Buddha is so big that its head is 14.7 meters long and 10 meters wide with total 1021 buns of hair on it, and his smallest toenail can accommodate a seated person. Then proceed to Emei Mountain. Overnight at the foot of the mountain.

Take a cable car up to Wannian Temple--one of the eight largest temples on this mountain and translated as “Long Life Temple” in English. See the scenic spots nearby and walk down to see the wild monkeys on the way. Drive back to Chengdu.

In the morning, visit Giant Panda Breeding Center, founded in 1987, it is a non-profit research and breeding facility for giant pandas and other rare animals. Then go to the Jinsha Site Museum, it was regarded the most significant archaeological discovery in the 21st century in China. Transfer to the airport and take a late afternoon flight to Hangzhou. Be met and transferred to hotel.

Boating at West Lake. With its beautiful lakes, mountains and many attractions, it has become the world-famous tourist destination and is known as the "paradise on earth". Then visit Lingyin Temple-- one of the ten most famous ancient Buddhist monasteries in China. Next to the temple, go to the Feilai Peak, 209 meters (about 700 feet) tall, is a pure limestone mountain that is very distinctive from the sandstone mountain around it. Later, go and see the Dragon Well tea plantation to enjoy a leisure time there.

Transfer to take an express train to Ningbo, visit the Asaki Temple to get close to its cultural and historical sites. Then take a cruise to Putuoshan-- lies on Eastern Sea of China and displays the beauty between sea and mountain. The area is about 12.5 square kilometers and has many famous and sacred temples. Overnight here.

Putuoshan island is covered with many temples and monasteries, both large and small. Many monks and nuns from all over the country, and abroad, go to great lengths to live and practice there. Today you are going to visit the major ones like Puji Temple, Fayu Temple, etc. Then take an afternoon cruise to Shanghai. Be met and transferred to hotel.

Full day trip to 4 highlights: Jade Buddha Temple-- the most popular Buddhist temple in Shanghai that boasting 2 precious jade Buddha sculptures from Burma. Yu Garden-- it was inaugurated in the Ming dynasty and has a total area of 20,000 square meters. As a paragon of the south Chinese landscaping style, it is a must-seeing sight in Shanghai. The Bund and Nanjing Road-- as it is known to all, the Bund is the waterfront to see new-erect modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period, while Nanjing Road is the busiest shopping street. Optional acrobatic show is offered at night.
