During this panda tour, you will firstly visit Wolong Panda Research Center to meet dozens of adorable pandas in person and join the panda volunteer program. Continue your trip to Mt. Siguniang National Park to discover and protect the natural habitat of giant pandas.

Welcome to Chengdu, the sweet homeland of giant pandas, where you can see the lovely panda elements everywhere. Upon arrival, your exclusive Easy Tour China guide and driver will meet and welcome you at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Chengdu. During the rest of the day, you may explore Chengdu on your own place for its panda culture, tea houses, laidback ambience and Sichuan Cuisine.

It takes about 3 hours for us to drive from Chengdu to Wolong Panda Research Center today. En route, stop for a visit of 2008 Earthquake Memorial Site. During the catastrophic earthquake in 2008, countless lives were lost, while the original site of Wolong Panda Base was largely ruined too.

After arriving at Wolong Shenshuping Panda Base at Genda Town, take a hike in Dengsheng Valley to explore the primitive habitat of giant pandas and savor the serene nature.

Wolong Panda Volunteer Tour

Today you will be a caring panda keeper to take part in various activities for rich panda experience. Take good care of these lovely fur balls by making for them the yummy and nutrient cakes, feed them in person, tiding up their houses, watching panda movies to get to know them much better. It will be a busy today, but still you will have much time to observe them closely. What a wonderful memory will be!

Wave goodbye to the pandas, and continue your journey to Mt. Siguniang in Xiaojin County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture.

Important Notes: The activity of holding a panda to take photos is not available currently. You may consult with your tour advisor at Easy Tour China for further information.

Mount Siguniang National Park is part of UNESCO-protected Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuaries and features amazingly beautiful natural sceneries. Mount Siguniang comprises of four peaks. The highest peak with an elevation of 6250 meters is the second highest peak in Sichuan. Take in the mountain views and also explore Changping Valley and Shuangqiao Valley, with similar sceneries to those of Jiuzhaigou Valley.

Make full use of your morning to explore Haizi Valley, another highlight of Mount Siguniang National Park. It is so named because there are many jewel-like lakes. By visiting Haizi Vally, you will see nature at its original appearance and at the prettiest.

The return trip to Chengdu will take you back to urban landscape. But the charming cultural city of Chengdu will never bore you.
