Take the early flight to the Gobi Desert (1.5 hrs) in the morning. Upon arrival, drive to the Bayanzag Flaming Cliffs and explore dinosaur remains. In Bayanzag, in addition to the rich dinosaur history with found dinosaur eggs and skeletons at the base of the vivid red bluffs, the landscape is also very impressive. Watching the amazing sunset over the red cliffs is really an enjoyment showing why this place got the name “Flaming Cliffs”. Stay overnight at the ger camp.

3647Have breakfast at the ger camp and drive to the Khongor sand dunes - the scenery is simply beautiful. It takes 4-5 hrs to drive to the dunes in Khongoriin for one way, passing through vast desert badlands that span to the furthest distances where remote mountains line the horizon. Lone gers and nomads on camelback hang suspended in the mirages, whilst the desert floor is strewn with a range of colorful rocks and unusual minerals. This is the Gobi at its stark best - there are many opportunities to stop and take photographs of the landscapes. Visit the beautiful sand dunes, walk the sand dunes and the Khongor oasis. Visit a camel breeder’s family and see their lifestyle, and try a short camel ride along the Khongor River. Tonight you will stay in a featured wooden house.

Heading towards the east, you will take the road to a beautiful mountain. Have a hiking trip in Yoliin Am Gorge, a wonderful place to see magnificent natural landscape shaped by a towering mountain gorge in the middle of the Gobi desert with thick ice all year round. The Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park in this area is the largest national park in Mongolia, living abundant wildlife such as snow leopard, Ibex, Argali, etc. If you’re lucky, you can see some of them. Optional horse riding is available at the gorge. After that, transfer to the tourist camp and rest.

Drive to Dalanzadgad and take the flight to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel in Ulaanbaatar and check in. Take a short rest and then begin the city tour by visiting some of the essential sights. You’ll first visit the Gandan Monastery, which houses a 26-meter-high gilded statue of the Buddha. After that, see the Genghis Khan monument on the Sukhbaatar Square and the Museum of National History, owning a number of fascinating displays of traditional Mongolian clothing and weaponry, as well as exhibits charting the course of Genghis Khan's empire-building. In the end, transfer back to the hotel after dinner.

We drive to the airport in the morning to take a flight to Moren, and transfer to a Ger camp in the best location by the Lake shore. The rest of the day is for your own exploration.
This region represents one of the most direct and contemporary combinations of the ancient shamanic and relatively modern (12th century) Buddhist cultures of Mongolia; and you can still find a large population from old tribes. Including the Khuvsgul Lake, the natural scenery is also a joy.

Full-day Khuvsgul Lake trip. Khusvgul Lake is the deepest lake in North Asia; its water is of an unrivalled purity, dotted with wildflowers along the bank in summer. You will enjoy some leisurely activities and sightseeing on Khuvsgul Lake and its surroundings - there are a number of ways to spend the day, including optional kayaking, horse riding, canoeing, hiking, fishing and a visit to the Tsaatan nomads – the 'Reindeer People'. Taking your time on a boat for an hour floating on the lake is really relaxing (included activity).

Drive back to Moren and take the flight to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel and check in. The rest time of the day is for your leisure until evening folklore performance. Enjoy traditional folklore concert by the magical Tumen Ekh ensemble. In the end, have a farewell dinner.

Free day in the morning, and our guide and driver will pick you at the hotel at the appointed time and transfer to the airport or train station. Say goodbye to Mongolia.
