Stone Forest

First go to West Hill, and see Dragon Gate (Longmen) Grottoes, where you can have a panoramic view of Dian Lake (Dian Chi). Then visit Golden Temple (Jin Dian) and stroll in CuiHu Park (Green Lake Park) in the afternoon.

-Dragon Gate Grottoes were carved out of the steep cliffs, featuring danger and uniqueness. They have more than 2 hundred years history.

- Dian Lake is crescent-shaped, measuring about 300 square kilometers. It is the largest freshwater lake in Yunnan Province and the 6th largest one in China. With picturesque scenery, it just looks like a pearl on the land.

- Golden Temple was built from bronze, which makes it glitter like a huge gold under the shining sun. That is why it got its name "Golden Temple".

- CuiHu Park is a perfect place for people escaping from the busting city and enjoying a leisurely stroll or seeing locals' daily life in Kunming.
