Upon arrive at Guilin airport or rail station, you will be warmly welcomed by your tour guide and transfer to the hotel in Yangshuo. Hotels with a family room/suite and swimming pool are recommended. Your guide will assist you with the check-in and take any stress away.

- Impression Liusanjie show - An open-air live show beside Li River of Yangshuo, it introduces the beautiful scenery of Li River, the colorful culture of the ethnic groups in Guangxi and the brave imagination of the excellent artists in China.
Recommended family hotels in Yangshuo:
- Bamboo Leaf Yangshuo (4-star): This countryside hotel is located relatively close to the downtown, and it has great family rooms and suites.
- Tea Cozy Hotel (4-star): It is situated beside the banks of Yulong River, hidden amon local farmer’s fields and far away from hustle and bustle of town center. Each room is unique and decorated in traditional Chinese style.
- Yangshuo Ancient Garden Boutique Hotel (5-star): It was converted from a local traditional mud and wooden houses, hidden in the mountain area and managed by the same company of Tea Cozy.
This morning your family will be cheered up as you cycle to the countryside to discover idyllic rural scenes. To avoid the busy traffic and to ensure your safety, we will start to ride after driving out of the town. The biking trail is relatively easy with picturesque farmland seen along the way.
After that, join a local farmer to his fields, and do 1-2hrs farm work under the famer’s instruction. As the crops in different seasons are always different, farm working will be arranged according to the season for you to experience, like, planting rice, growing vegetables, and rice/peanuts harvest, etc.
After lunch and a short rest, transfer to Fuli, a small and tranquil old town 8 kilometers away from Yangshuo, and with a history over 1000 years. Here you can see nice workshops where craftsmen are making painted paper fans and framing calligraphy or painting. Therefore Fuli is also known as the Chinese Painted Fan Town. Parents and children will have the opportunity to learn the art of fan making and take home your final product as a memento.
You May Want to Know
- If your child is too young to ride a bike herself/hiself, we can arrange to have a seat fitted to the back of the bike, or choose a tandem bike for you to share with your child.
- If you are active family that prefer outdoor activities, we highly recommend Kayaking on Li River and rock climbing.

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxing and happy morning exploration to the charming Yulong River area. Have a leisure walk along Yulong River, enjoying the every moment to close up to the amazing nature, consist of limestone Karst peaks, orchards and serene centuries-old villages. A picnic lunch with tasty snacks and seasonal fruits and drinks, has been prepared beside the Yulong River. Cherish the happiness and most memorable family time. Later, drive back to your hotel or airport for your departure.
