Day

Arrive in Hangzhou in the afternoon. Transfer to take photos of the sunset of West Lake and night view of Jixian Pavilion. Overnight in Hangzhou (1 night).

Get up early in morning, go to Maojiabu to take the photo of sunrise. After breakfast, have a rest and then drive to Lingyin Buddhist Temple for the chances of photography. After lunch, stroll at the old quarter of Hangzhou. Board a late afternoon train to Wuyuan. Overnight at Wuyuan (2 nights).

Head for Shicheng to take the shots of villages in the morning mist. We can have a picnic and walk into the village for more photos. Drive to Jujing village and walk up to a platform on a hill to see the roundest village in this country. Go back to the hotel and rest. In the afternoon, visit a local paper umbrella workshop to take photos of hand-made umbrellas and craftsmen. Then visit a local farmer’s home and see how they prepare the dinner in their old kitchen.

Shoot China's roundest village in Wuyuan and a local paper umbrella workshop

Drive to Zhang Village to take pictures of the fisherman working in the morning, a perfect model for photographers. You will also take pictures of locals doing laundry by the river and wooden bridge. Then drive back to hotel for breakfast. Drive to Fengshan Village to see the pagoda, old houses, blacksmith, etc. If time permits, we go further to Chaguan to take the photos of an old bridge with farmer and buffalo. After lunch, leave for Huangling Village, take the cable car up, see the old village and their air-dry produces. Overnight at village (1 night).

Capture a fisherman in the morning mist in Wuyuan

Explore the possibility of great photos yourself at village in the early morning. After breakfast, take cable car down, go and visit the chrysanthemum farm and watch flower picking. In the afternoon, drive to Yi County, and check into the hotel near Hongcun Village. Take the photos of the sunset and night view. Overnight near Hongcun Village (2 nights).

In the early morning, drive onto the hill slope and take the photos of Lu Village at sunrise. Go back to hotel for breakfast. After that, take more photos of the old architecture and rural scenery. In the afternoon, go and take the photos of Qishu Lake, explore another village and neighboring area.

Clients shoot the beautiful black and white Huizhou architectures in Hongcun Village

Get up early in the morning to take the photos of Tachuan and Xieli, where is regarded as one of the 4 famous spots for autumn view in China. Go back to hotel and have breakfast. After lunch, drive to Yellow Mountain and take cable car up to the mountain. The temperature on the mountain is 3-6 degree Celsius lower than that at the foot. You need to walk 30 minutes to Shilin Hotel (2 nights). Then go to take photos at some nice spots. Note: the 4-star Shilin Hotel on the mountain is comfortable enough for 2 nights stay, but not as good as those 4 star hotels in the city due to its inaccessibility.

Get up early to take the photos of sunrise (Qingliang platform or Shixin Peak), then have breakfast. Then go and see more sites for photography. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon, explore the Guangming Summit, Feilai Rock. Head for the Paiyun Pavilion for the sunset.

Capture the peaks of Yellow Mountain in the mist

If weather permits, another chance to take the pictures of sunrise on Yellow Mountain. After breakfast, hotel checkout and take the cable car down. After lunch, transfer to the railway station or airport to head for your next destination.
