This 2-day panda tour is idea for experiencing giant panda’s daily life and culture by working as a volunteer. What’s more, you will see the ancient engineering wonder - Dujiangyan Irrigation Project and sacred Mt. Qingcheng.

Day

Pick you up at your hotel in the morning, transfer to visit China Panda Conservation and Research Center – Dujiangyan Base, located about 55kilometers (34miles) away from Chengdu. Work as a volunteer to feed the pandas and play with them. Stay overnight in Dujiangyan.  

Dujiangyan Panda Base – the world’s only giant panda disease control center, focusing on the panda pension, the rescue of the wild giant pandas and the research of disease control.  

Meal: L

Drive to Dujiangyan Irrigation Project to see the aqueduct used for more than 2200 years, then proceed to Mt. Qingcheng for a pilgrimage to Taoist Holy Mountain. Drive back to Chengdu.  

Dujiangyan Irrigation Project: the world's oldest conservation project without a dam, still in use for irrigation and flood-controlling today. 

Mt. Qingcheng: one of China’s four famous Taoist Holy Mountains endowed with pretty mountain views, listed as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO together along with Dujiangyan Irrigation Project in 2000.
