Today, let’s enjoy a leisure hiking tour from Xidi Village to Hongcun Village. The hiking route follows Xidi-Hongcun Ancient Pathway, with a total length of 8 kilometers, and duration of 3 hours. Explore the primitive villages for unique folk culture, and enjoy the beautiful scenery all the way along. The Xidi-Hongcun Ancient Pathway is a national trail for mountaineering and fitness, being one of the most beautiful hiking trails. Wander around the famous Hongcun Village after you reach there. With 900-year existence, it was listed into UNESCO as World Culture Heritage in 2000. The morning mist, gray tiles, white walls, stone bridge, lotus ponds, hills are all perfect elements selected to Chinese painting. So Hongcun Village is reputed as "the village in Chinese painting". While what makes it special is the village's interesting ox-like architecture composition. Stay overnight in Hongcun.

Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel, and then drive for about one hour to reach the foot of Huangshan Mountain. Take Yungu Cableway up to White Goose Ridge. After that, you can enjoy hiking and admiring at the Celestial Capital Peak, Lotus Peak and Bright Top where they are the ideal places to gaze over the breathtaking seas of clouds. In the afternoon, continue hiking to Flying-Over Rock and visit the most spectacular West Sea Grand Canyon. Stay overnight on the top of Yellow Mountain, you can enjoy the night view on your own arrangement.

On this day, try to get up early in the morning to catch the magnificent sunrise in Mt. Huangshan. After breakfast in hotel, continue the exploration of the mountain. Afterwards, you will take the cable car down and transfer to Lingshan Village. Have stroll in this tranquil village, you will find the village surrounded by vast and boundless bamboo groves, and that is the famous Lingshan Bamboo Forest. The local residents are good at Bamboo weaving, such as bamboo basket, bamboo hat, dustpan, etc. Today, you will have chance to learn how to make bamboo handicraft at local workshop. Later, have a leisure walk among bamboo forest and terraces (around 1 hour), enjoying the fresh air in the wild, listening to the birds and putting yourself into the embrace of the beautiful nature here. Finally, take a short ride to Tangmo Village and check in hotel.

In the morning, wander around Tangmo Village. It's a small peaceful village, famous for both its noticing natural landscape and cultural glamour. Unlike Hongcun and Xidi Ancient Villages, it is tranquil and away from crowds of tourists. The highlight of the day must be the special Chinese cultural experience- making rubbings from stele. It’s a kind of printing technology from ancient China. You will get to know the knowledge and try to make the rubbings personally. Afterwards, go to Hu Kaiwen Ink-stick Factory, which is the oldest continually operating ink stick factory in China. Ink stick is one of the Four Treasures of the Study of ancient China. Walking on the small lane to Hu Kaiwen Ink Factory, you will gradually smell the ink's fragrance. The most highlight part must be see the process of making Ink-stick, and you can even experience making Ink-stick personally.
In the end, transfer to the airport or rail station for your departure. Farewell to Huangshan city.
