Day

Huangshan is 3 hours by bullet train from Shanghai and 2 hours from Hangzhou. And there are flights to Huangshan from major Chinese cities. Upon arrival at Huangshan railway station or airport, meet your ETC guide and driver, and transfer to the foot of Yellow Mountain, then take cable car up to the mountain top. Relax and get your camera and all photographic equipment ready for photo opportunities (e.g. sunset) that may come at any time.

Get up early this morning to capture the sunrise (weather permitting), stretching your eyesight through the morning fog despersed gradually by the soft gleaming light. Your guide wiill lead you to the right sites (Bright Summit or Refreshing Terrace, or both) for photo shooting, depending on your travel season and the weather. Bright Summit is the second highest peak (1840m). Later, explore the spectacular West Sea Grand Canyon where the rock peaks are rising surprisingly among the dreamlike seas of clouds and tenacious pine trees are growing from the sheer cliff. Take care of your camera when walking on the rugged stone paths. Watch the sunset at Dispelling Cloud Pavilion or Flying-Over Rock (weather permitting), before return to your hotel. Have a good rest tonight.

It will take much time and energy for you to walk on the mountain. So if feel tired on the way, your guide can adjust your itinerary flexibly. Of course you can discuss on it with your travel advisor of Easy Tour China when planning the trip.

  Important Notes:

  • West Sea Grand Canyon and Lotus Peak will be closed from December to the next March, due to the snowy weather. So we will adjust your itinerary.
